I went there now. X3 is a disgruntled jobber. I battered him around in leagues and he ran away.
Taking it out on you. Short cutting because he's not good enough.
There's the difference right there. You're vocal and a fighter. I know I got a war against you through your effort and determination. That guy is playing like a clown.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. No problem with the owner at all. This wasn't a surprise attack against my team. If you looked back over 16 games the OLB zone was run 800+ times and 2-3 other plays were used fewer than 50 times total all season - he does that against everyone.
I'm just trying to figure out a way to beat what you know is coming. Speaking of scared, I had considered adding more 2&10 inside runs etc to soften him up, but I didn't want to mess up my "normal" gameplan and didn't do it - that's on me.
The way I talk is to hype myself up. You need to get mad to create the energy to beat certain game plans. I'm chill but the way the talk comes out is just my way of being competitive and not wanting to lose to it.
I would have received the kickoff and came at him with 212 runs I knew would mess him up and then ..I can't give away all my stuff but I'd section out a 1/2 Quarter somewhere else later in the game and in his case I'd take my best short passes average wise and work from the significant advantage order of 2 RB/WR, 113 and then 212 passes. Maybe use medium sprinkled in. I'd get myself into a fury and put a TNT dynamite package together and blast him out of the playoffs and crying on the board. #visualization motivation

I will probably set up a few more team specific gameplan rules if I play him again next season. #learning at the foot of the master
I hate the single play defense...this game/sim wasn't designed for that...I'm a firm believer JDB should have set minimums for offensive and defensive plays selected (just like he has maximums for each.)
I know rules can funnel specific plays or at least sets but every team should have to call a variety of offensive and defensive plays so the randomness of the game can evolve.
My success on offense is the fact I have no idea what play will be called at just about any point in the game which makes it nearly impossible to scout and defend against it.
I get burned on some defensive play calls but hey, that's football!

That’s essentially my offensive philosophy in MFN as well. I have a base offense and scale according to down and distance, but nothing is pre-planned.
I do have a few rules that are designed to throw different looks if my base offense isn’t getting it done.
