We will be celebrating the 25th season of the XFL all season as the league reaches its silver anniversary!!!

31 of the 32 francises have made the postseason at least 3 times in the first 24 seasons with only the Daytona Beach Bull Sharks being the only team never to make the postseason!

29 of the 32 francises have won a Division Title with only New England, Daytona & Montana never claiming a division crown. Montana went 10-6 last season including 5-1 in division games but fell 1 game short of winning their first division Title. New England has won at least 10 games four times but unfortunately they are in Buffalo's division who has won 20 of the 24 division crowns. Daytona's best season was the inaugural season of the XFL in 2018 where they went 10-6 back when they played in Jacksonville. Since moving to Daytona in 2023, they've had one winning season, 9-7 in 2026. In 2027, they were bought by owner Voryzover and have gone 15 straight seasons without a winning record with their best season coming in 2029 where they finished 8-8. Daytona is also unfortuately in the same division with Dakota who has won the division 21 of 24 seasons.

23 of 32 francises have reached a Conference Championship game including 9 of 16 in the AXC and 14 of 16 in the NXC. Only Providence & Montana haven't made it in the NXC while the AXC teams which haven't made are KC, Indiana, Vancouver, New England, New York, Miami & Daytona.

14 of 32 francises have won a Conference Championship including 5 of 16 in the AXC and 11 of 16 in the NXC. The five teams not to win in the NXC include Providence, LA, Washington, Montana & Tampa Bay. The 5 teams that won an AXC Conference Championship include Oakland, Buffalo, Texas, Dakota & Michigan.

11 of 32 francises have won a XFL Title including 4 of 16 in the AXC and 7 of 16 in the NXC. Titles won by francise are listed below:

5 Dakota
4 Buffalo
3 Atlanta
2 Zehlendorf
2 Vegas
2 Oakland
2 Gem City
1 Carolina
1 Texas
1 Philadelphia
1 Arizona

The XFL Title has been won 12 times by the AXC and 12 times by the NXC.

30 of 32 francises have won at least 1 playoff game with only Montana & Daytona not recording a postseason win.

25 of 32 francises have won a home playoff game with Montana, Daytona, Toronto, New England, Miami, Vancouver & Michigan being the teams who didn't record a home playoff win.

27 of 32 francises have won a road playoff game with Montana, Daytona, New York, Providence & surprisingly Atlanta who haven't won a road playoff game. Atlanta has won 3 Title in 4 appearances but has never won a road playoff game. The XFL Title game is considered a neutral field.

Stay tuned to this thread all season as we will continue to celebrate the silver anniversary of the XFL!!!!

This being the 25th season means division rivals will be playing games 49 & 50 versus one another. Let's take a look at some standout division rivalries plus look at some other interesting matchups!

AXC WEST

Oakland has owned this division for years but they had their first losing season (7-9) last season for the first time in 23 seasons!

Vancouver (30-16-0) (18-5-0) (12-11-0)
Indiana (37-9-0) (18-5-0) (19-4-0)
Kansas City (36-10-0) (19-4-0) (17-6-0)

AXC EAST

Buffalo has dominated this division for years and is coming off back to back Conference Championships. In fact, they have won the AXC in 8 of the past 13 seasons.

New York (43-5-0) (22-2-0) (21-3-0)
New England (43-5-0) (23-1-0) (20-4-0)
Miami (43-5-0) (21-3-0) (22-2-0)

Buffalo has also dominated versus the NXC South since the league's inception, going 20-4 but the South has risen in recent seasons including Atlanta winning XFL XXIV over Buffalo which makes these upcoming games very intriguing. They also play the AXC North thus season where they have gone 38-10

Tampa Bay (6-0-0) (2-0-0) (4-0-0)
Memphis (4-2-0) (2-1-0) (2-1-0)
Atlanta (5-1-0) (3-0-0) (2-1-0)
Carolina (5-1-0) (4-0-0) (1-1-0)

Toronto (9-2-0) (4-1-0) (5-1-0)
Houston (7-3-0) (4-1-0) (3-2-0)
Pittsburg (14-1-0) (6-0-0) (8-1-0)
Cincinnati (8-4-0) (4-3-0) (4-1-0)

AXC NORTH

Cincinnati is the only team in their division with winning records versus their division rivals but Pittsburgh & Houston aren't far behind. Houston won the division last season but Toronto & Cincinnati won the division the previous 2 seasons. Cincinnati is the last team to repeat as division Champs (2038/2039) and Pittsburgh hasn't won the division since 2031. All 4 teams made the postseason last year and it was Toronto who came in 4th in the division who advanced to the Conference Championship game. This division is brutal and ita anyone's guess who takes it this season.

CINCINNATI
Toronto (36-12-0) (21-3-0) (15-9-0)
Houston (25-23-0) (14-10-0) (1q-13-0)
Pittsburg (24-23-1) (14-10-0) (10-13-1)

PITTSBURGH
Toronto (31-17-0) (15-9-0) (16-8-0)
Houston (28-20-0) (16-9-0) (12-11-0)
Cincinnati (23-24-1) (13-10-1) (10-14-0)

HOUSTON
Toronto (25-23-0) (17-7-0) (8-16-0)
Pittsburg (20-28-0) (11-13-0) (9-15-0)
Cincinnati (23-25-0) (13-11-0) (10-14-0)

AXC SOUTH

Dakota has dominated this division since the 1st season of the XFL, winning the division 21 of 24 seasons while making the postseason all 24 seasons of the XFL. Dakota just edges Buffalo with a 131-12-1 division record to Buffalo's 129-15 division record as they rank #1 & #2 Alltime in division records.

Texas (40-7-1) (19-4-1) (21-3-0)
Michigan (44-4-0) (23-1-0) (21-3-0)
Daytona (47-1-0) (23-1-0) (24-0-0)

Dakota also plays the AXC West & NXC West which they have had great success against in the past going 38-10 versus the AXC WEST & 22-2 versus the NXC WEST.

Vancouver (8-2-0) (3-1-0) (5-1-0)
Indiana (8-1-0) (3-0-0) (5-1-0)
Oakland (11-7-0) (7-1-0) (4-6-0)
Kansas City (11-0-0) (8-0-0) (3-0-0)

Vegas (5-1-0) (1-0-0) (4-1-0)
Seattle (5-1-0) (4-0-0) (1-1-0)

Arizona (6-0-0) (2-0-0) (4-0-0)

NXC WEST

Philadelphia is the only team in their division with winning records versus their division rivals but Brooklyn is surprisingly close. Philly has won the last 4 division Titles and Brooklyn is the last team to win the division other then Philadelphia. Washington and Providence have made the playoffs the last 2 seasons as wildcards.

PHILADELPHIA
Washington (35-13-0) (19-5-0) (16-8-0)
Brooklyn (25-23-0) (11-13-0) (15-10-0)
Providence (30-18-0) (15-9-0) (15-9-0)

BROOKLYN
Philadelphia (23-25-0) (10-14-0) (13-11-0)
Washington (31-17-0) (15-9-0) (16-8-0)
Providence (30-18-0) (16-8-0) (14-10-0)

The NXC West plays the NXC South and the AXC North

NXC EAST

Vegas owns this division over the years but after 2 straight Titles, Arizona rose up last season to take the division.

Seattle (37-11-0) (19-5-0) (18-6-0)
Los Angeles (31-16-1) (18-5-1) (13-11-0)
Arizona (32-16-0) (19-5-0) (13-11-0)

The NXC EAST play the AXC South and NXC North this season.

Montana (40-8-0) (23-1-0) (17-7-0)
Zehlendorf (32-16-0) (16-8-0) (16-8-0)

Glad to see Steve Davis getting in there. Guy was a stud in his last 4 seasons for me.

Since we just released the 2042 Hall of Fame class, let's take a look at the Hall of Fame and the players enshrined.

They have been 73 players elected to the Hall of Fame in the 15 years since it opened in 2028, 11 years after the XFL started. That's an average of just under 5 players per year getting elected with a high of 7 players enshrined in 2029 & 2030 to a low of 2 players enshrined in 2039.

28 of 32 teams have at least one player enshrined with Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington & Atlanta the four teams without a Hall of Famer.

16 of 32 teams have at least 2 players in the Hall of Fame with Dakota leading the way with 9 followed by Buffalo with 8 then Gem City with 6 players.

The AXC has 44 players enshrined compared to 29 players from the NXC since 3 of the top 4 teams with the most players enshrined is in the AXC.

18 of the 22 eligible positions are represented in the Hall of Fame with FB, RT, P & RET not having a representative.

WR leads the way with 11 players enshrined followed by QB (9), RB (8), CB (8) and MLB (7) rounding out the top five.

Of the four teams without a representative in the Hall of Fame, I list the players most likely to get elected in the future.

CINCINNATI
WR Gary Hunt
He is still active after being traded to Dakota in the off-season after playing 7 seasons with Cincinnati. He has 8,273 yards receiving (16th Alltime), 59 TD receptions (21st Alltime), 10,878 Total yards (51st Alltime) and 64 Total TDs (32nd Alltime).

PITTSBURGH
LDE William Ray
He is only entering his 4th season but he is coming off a 20 sack season and is signed for the next 4 seasons. With 32 career sacks, he is just 2 from setting the francise record and a few more seasons like last season could see he getting some heat to get elected.

WASHINGTON
RB Brandon Stone
He is only entering his 4th season but he already has a single season rushing crown under his belt and has put up 3 straight 1,000 yard rushing seasons. His 4,241 career rushing yards is 2nd alltime for Pittsburgh but he is on the last year of his rookie contract so will Washington give him a longterm deal?

WR Robert Yancy
A veteran entering his 10th season is a triple threat will 4,706 rushing yards, 26 rushing TDs, 4,020 receiving yards, 17 TD receptions, 3,334 KO return yards, 8 KO return TDs, 12,931 Total yards and 51 Total TDs. He is signed for the next 3 seasons and if he can keep producing, he is already 24th Alltime in Total yards, 15th in KO return yards and 2nd Alltime in KO return TDs.

ATLANTA
RB Peter Chappell
He is just entering his 3rd season but he rushed for 1500 yards last season and the team won the XFL Title.

RB Leroy Bello
He is just entering his 2nd season but he was named to the ALLPRO team at RB last season on a team that won it all.

WR Terrance McConkey
He is entering his 4th season and has been dubbed a TD machine after recording 21 Total TDs last season for a Championship team.

It's the 25th anniversary season of the the XFL so before the start of this historic season, I decided to do a comprehensive breakdown on all 32 teams including predictions.

I don't do this every season but I have done this before and I've been really close with some of my final predictions. With that being said, it's just one man's opinion based on roster and past history and I don't do this to upset or insult anyone.

Nothing would make me happier then to see anyone completely outperform my predictions and turn them upside down.

This entire breakdown took around 10 days to complete so if you made a move after I "visited" your team then I apologize plus I'm only human so any mistakes are mine and again I apologize.

I hope everyone enjoys their teams breakdown and please comment if you think I'm completely off about anything.

ENJOY!

AXC

WEST

VANCOUVER VANDALS

LAST SEASON: 2-14
RUSH OFF: 30th
PASS OFF: 30th
TOTAL OFF: 31st
RUSH DEF: 30th
PASS DEF: 23rd
TOTAL DEF: 31st
TO MARGIN: +7

OFFENSE:
Starting QB John Wade left via free agency so 2nd round pick QB John Bennett gets to start.

Leading rusher RB Mullins returns but RB Williams and RB Porter should start based on their speed and ability.

Leading receivers TE Bermudez/WR Moran and WR Rigsby return but rookies TE Watford and WR Grubbs should get serious looks in camp plus WR Fleming has the most speed but only was targeted 30 times last season with just 11 receptions. Fleming needs to step up and become a top WR.

The entire offensive line returns but C Gadson should replace C Cano as starter.

DEFENSE:
The entire defensive line returns led by LDE Vicente who led the team is sacks (10). RDE Sailor is ready to start and should give Vicente more help rushing the passer. DT Hickman should start over incumbent DT Robinson who has slowed with age.

The starting LBs all return and are led by 5× ALLPRO SLB Reed. The group is aging and MLB Metiver and WLB McGlothlin will be challenged by younger, faster LBs including rookies MLB Reynolds and WLB Flores.

Only 3 of 8 defensive backs return as the team drafted 4 defensive backs. Rookie CB Lehman was taken with the 2nd overall pick and will need to start immediately and only SS Whiteman returns at safety so 3 rookie safeties will have to contribute from day 1.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers return and both are very solid.

PREDICTION: 7-9
With increased speed on offense & defense, the team should improve on a disappointing 2-14 season. They are strong at RB, OL, DL plus have a 5× ALLPRO at LB. They are weak in the secondary and alot will depend on CB Lehman developing fast and becoming a lockdown corner. They will rely on 3rd year QB Bennett taking the helm and becoming the starter.

INDIANA FOG

LAST SEASON: 7-9
RUSH OFF: 21st
PASS OFF: 10th
TOTAL OFF: 17th
RUSH DEF: 13th
PASS DEF: 22nd
TOTAL DEF: 17th
TO MARGIN: +7

OFFENSE:
Starting QB Fitzgerald returns for his 10th season and 5th as Indiana's starter. Veteran QB Somers plus Rookie QB Willis were brought in to challenge Fitzgerald who has underwhelmed in his career.

All 3 RBs return including 1,000 yard rusher RB Allen. Some scouts like RB Collins over RB Allen but regardless they have a solid 2-headed monster.

Leading receivers TE Lee & WRs Wallace/Koski/Clinton all return and TE Lee is coming off an ALLPRO Season. They drafted WR Estes in the 5th round which adds some speed to the group.

The entire starting offensive line returns and the group is very good but they lack depth across the board.

DEFENSE:
The entire front four on the defensive front return and the group is solid posting 26 combined sacks last season along with helping the defense rank 13th in rush defense.

The LBs return 2 of 3 starters including 2× ALLPRO MLB Owens and WLB Bowman. WLB Coronado should help replace former ALLPRO SLB Hall who retired. The team also signed SLB Gray to help fill the void then drafted MLB Holmes to add depth.

The entire defensive backfield returns and they have great speed at safety plus 10 year vet CB Hernandez is coming off an 8 interception season. Overall the CBs lack elite speed and explains why they ranked 22nd in passing defense last season.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers return and both are elite level.

PREDICTION: 8-8
The team remains mostly unchanged and should compete for their division Title for the 3rd straight season in an improved division.

OAKLAND OUTLAWS

LAST SEASON: 7-9
RUSH OFF: 12th
PASS OFF: 16th
TOTAL OFF: 15th
RUSH DEF: 23rd
PASS DEF: 17th
TOTAL DEF: 23rd
TO MARGIN: -1

OFFENSE:
Starting QB Collins returns for his 3rd season as starter since being drafted in the 2nd round. The hope is he takes that next step this season and can finally throw more TDs then interceptions. In his first 2 seasons, he has posted a 25/28 TD/INT ratio.

The RB group returns 1,000 RB Love and but loses 700 yard rusher Stephens to retirement. Fellow backs Hamlett, Garcia & Johnson return plus RB Rivera was drafted and RB Kawamura was signed via free agency to replace the lose of Stephens.

The receivers group returns leading WR Milligan but 2nd leading WR Beam was allowed to hit free agency. WR Duncan, WR Plummer and WR Stroud were signed via free agency to replace the lose of Beam & Stephens.

The entire starting offensive line returns but RG Columbus was signed via free agency to battle RG Moronta for the starting job. The team lacks depth across the board.

DEFENSE:
Both defensive ends return including RDE Peeples who led the team in sacks (11). DT Dwyer returns but they lose DT Leahy to free agency. Former ALLPRO LDE Moore was signed via free agency and the team drafted DT Carter & Cumbie in the 1st & 2nd rounds which has led to rumors DT Dwyer was on the trade block.

The team returns all 3 starting LBs including leading tackler MLB Everitt and 3× ALLPRO SLB Janik. WLB Jenkins rounds out the starters and he finished with over 100 tackles. Overall the group is solid but they lack top-end speed overall.

The defensive backs return everyone except SS Edmonds who left via free agency so the team drafted CB Hazelwood and signed CB Arechiga, a former ALLPRO nearing the end of his career.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
K Scruggs returns who is one of the top kickers in the league but they lose P Mendez to free agency so P Arthur gets the starting job

PREDICTION: 8-8
The team should compete for the division if QB Collins can take the next step in year 3. Last season was the 1st time since 2018 where Oakland finished below .500 so look for them to bounce back this season somewhat.

KANSAS CITY CHAOS

LAST SEASON: 9-7 (Division Champ)
RUSH OFF: 18th
PASS OFF: 18th
TOTAL OFF: 19th
RUSH DEF: 25th
PASS DEF: 15th
TOTAL DEF: 21st
TO MARGIN: -4

OFFENSE:
QB Richard Harris started 11 games while QB Leonard Thompson started 5 games last season. Harris started games 1-4, then Thompson took over from game 5-9 then Harris finished the season from 10-16. Harris started 2-2, Thompson went 2-3 before Harris went 5-2 down the stretch. Both QBs return and hopefully Harris can start all 16 games this season.

The two main backs return including 1,000 yard rusher RB Barlowe and 600 yard rusher Gonzales. The team drafted RB Lopez to add more depth to the unit.

The top two receivers return including TE Peck & WR Moore but the team lost veteran WR Plummer to free agency. The rest of the WRs and TEs return and the team drafted WR Walker to add speed to the unit and replace Plummers production.

The entire starting offensive line returns but the team spend big in free agency to bring in RG Poisson who will replace RG Friend as starter. The move not only improves the line but it increases the quality depth across the entire line.

DEFENSE:
The entire front four of tge defensive line returns including RDE Hargett who led the team in sacks (14). The team spent 2 late round picks to add depth on the edge.

5 of 6 LBs return including all the starters and they lost SLB Woodson to retirement but he only played 183 snaps last season. The unit is solid enough but they lack any depth.

7 of 8 defensive backs return but former ALLPRO FS Castle retired so the team drafted SS Tharpe in the 4th round to fill the void.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers return and both are considered elite level.

PREDICTION: 9-7
The team won the division despite changing quarterbacks twice last season. If QB Harris can start all 16 games and the offense remains balanced, they could repeat as division Champs in a ultra competitive and close division.

EAST

NEW ENGLAND CRUSADERS

LAST SEASON: 8-8
RUSH OFF: 14th
PASS OFF: 24th
TOTAL OFF: 20th
RUSH DEF: 22nd
PASS DEF: 7th
TOTAL DEF: 13th
TO MARGIN: +2

OFFENSE:
QB Cunningham started the first 9 games last season going 4-5 before being benched for QB Lockwood who played the last 7 games going 4-3. Cunningham is the 1st round pick and signed a mega-deal contract and is due 100 million over the next 4 seasons. Lockwood is a 4th round pick signed for about 1 million and change the next couple seasons. Cunningham needs to take the starting job and leave no doubt who is the starter.

The entire running back unit returns including QB Shor who is used in running situations. The unit is young and the key to the offense.

The top 5 receivers return and the team lost WR Murphy to retirement and WR Anderson to free agency but the two only combined for 6 receptions last season. They signed WR Knapp in free agency but the unit needs to produce more as a group and improve on a 24th ranked pass offense.

The offensive line only returns 2 starters from last season and its young and a work in process. All 11 offensive linemen on the roster have 5 years or less experience including 5 rookies.

DEFENSE:
6 defensive linemen return including leading RDE Boyd who lead the team with 19 sacks. They lost veteran DT Sullivan to free agency and the team and the team drafted 2 DTs & 1 LDE including 2nd round pick DT Lawrence who should replace Sullivan as a starter.

The LB unit returns intact including former ALLPROs MLB Guerrier and WLB Brunswick.

5 of 7 defensive backs return as they lose CB Vansickle and FS Lloyd to free agency and sign CB McCool via free agency to mitigate the loses.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers and the return specialist remain unchanged and are solid to elite level.

PREDICTION: 6-10
The team needs to settle on a starting QB and get more out of the passing game but the offensive line is a work in progress with 5 rookies vying for starting jobs. The team relied on defense, especially a 7th ranked pass defense to finish 7-7 and 2 DBs left and they only signed a veteran/1 year replacement. Look for growing pains and the team takes a step back this season.

NEW YORK EMPIRE

LAST SEASON: 5-11
RUSH OFF: 20th
PASS OFF: 31st
TOTAL OFF: 28th
RUSH DEF: 21st
PASS DEF: 18th
TOTAL DEF: 22nd
TO MARGIN: +16

OFFENSE:
QB Rojas returns and tgmhe veteran QB has to finally put it all together this season. He has all the tools to succeed in this league and it's time to put up or New York could look to make a change.

The team traded former ALLPRO and 1,000 yard rusher WR Peacock to division rival Buffalo. The team will rely on the four returning backs and rookie RB Cota to replace all that lost production.

The receivers return basically unchanged by the lose of Peacock with effect this unit as well.

The offensive line returns intact but New York used their 1st round pick to draft LG Edwards who is considered a generational talent. He should improve the unit overall and increase the teams depth also.

DEFENSE:
The entire defensive front returns including RDE Jacobs who lead the team in sacks (13). The starters are old and depth is in question.

The strength of the team last season was the LBs and the team lost MLB Elliot to free agency after he was selected to 4 straight ALLPROs. The team did retain WLB Dildy who won 2 straight ALLPROs and the team hopes MLB Luther can replace Elliot.

The secondary lost FS Griffin to retirement and drafted 2 rookies including 2nd round CB Osterberg who the team is high on.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
The two kickers return but the trade of Peacock effects this unit as he was the primary returner.

PREDICTION: 3-13
The lose of their best offensive playmaker and best defensive player spells a step back for the francise as they begin a clear rebuild.

BUFFALO SKULL CRUSHERS

LAST SEASON: 12-4 (Division Champ/Conference Champ)
RUSH OFF: 7th
PASS OFF: 7th
TOTAL OFF: 5th
RUSH DEF: 9th
PASS DEF: 2nd
TOTAL DEF: 3rd
TO MARGIN: -4

OFFENSE:
QB Dobbs is a 2× MVP and 2× ALLPRO but last season was easily his worst season since Buffalo traded for him in 2034. Buffalo needs him to bounce back this season because he is due over 100 million in guaranteed money over the next 4 seasons.

Leading rusher RB Wilson signed with Dakota in the off-season plus they lost WR Steiger to free agency. They traded with division rival New York for WR Peacock, a former ALLPRO and 1,000 yard rusher last season.

The receivers lost leading target WR Giles to retirement, the 3rd most targeted WR Steiger and 4th most targeted RB Wilson to free agency. The 3 loses accounted for over 1,600 yards. They signed WR Moran, WR Houghton, WR Proctor, WR Bennett and WR McKenna via free agency to reload and replace the lost production. The 5 WRs signed produced just 403 yards receiving last season so it will be interesting to see how much Buffalo gets out of them.

7 offensive linemen return and 5 new linemen were signed as Buffalo loves to mix and match linemen based on run or pass blocking.

DEFENSE:
The team returns only 2 of the 4 starting defensive linemen including RDE Mason who led the team in sacks (11). They lost DT Grey to free agency and LDE Rogers to retirement. The pair combined for 13 sacks. They signed DT Cheney, RDE Febus & RDE Carson to replace them but the three combined for just 1 sack last season.

The only LB who recorded a tackle or played a down SLB Jaeger retired. They signed MLB McIntyre, MLB Washington, WLB Tolle and WLB Raper to fill the void.

The team has 19 defensive backs including 11 returning from last season plus 8 free agent signings including 2× ALLPRO FS Deane.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

PREDICTION: 14-2
The team has never had a losing season and hasn't missed the playoffs since 2019 so there is no reason to predict anything different. Dobbs should bounce back and the trade for WR Peacock gives them an elite playmaker they lacked last season.

QB Keeler returns for his 3rd season as starter after being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2040 draft. They signed veteran QB Wade in free agency and still have QB Paez who was drafted in the 1st round of the 2039 draft on the roster. All 3 could start and who becomes QB1 is the question.

Starting RB Hall returns who may be the slowest RB in the XFL while starting FB Elder left in free agency. The team has speedy RB Holloway returning on the last year of his rookie deal plus they drafted fast RB Loper in the 5th round. They need to start Holloway & Loper plus use FB Moore & FB Cady to improve on last seasons 32nd ranked rush offense.

Every player who caught a pass returns except FB Elder. The team was led by FB Cady in receiving yards & TD receptions while FB Moore led the team in receptions which helps explain why the team finished 26th in pass offense last season. The team drafted TE Cooper (1st round), TE Kane (2nd round), TE Duval (7th round), WR West (4th round) & WR Willett (3rd round) to add much needed speedy to the passing game.

8 of 12 offensive linemen return as C Bledsoe, RG Columbus, LT Bergeron & RT Buck left via free agency. They drafted LT Trull (2nd round), C Lee (3rd round) & RG Holden (6th round) plus signed RT Mowbray via free agency to replace the loses.

DEFENSE:
All 8 defensive linemen return for a very young unit with some talent & potential.

7 of 8 LBs return including former ALLPRO MLB Dupree. Leading tackler WLB Hernandez left via free agency so the team drafted MLB Harding in the 3rd round to fill the void.

9 of 10 DBs return as tge team lost FS Cook to retirement.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
They have 5 kickers on the roster all returning from last season. They should bring this down to at least 3 kickers before week 1.

PREDICTION: 6-10
This is a hard team to predict because they have enough talent to win and the team is very young with 22 players either a rookie or entering year 2. If the coaches put together a solid gameplan, they should improve greatly from last season and finishing 8-8 isn't out of tge question.

Every player who rushed the ball returns this season except FB Cameron who had just 1 rush for 5 yards as he became a free agent. The team took a flyer on 6th round RB Applebaum to maybe add depth.

The top 7 receivers return as the team lost depth when TE Rodgers retired and FB Cameron & WR Agee were allowed to walk via free agency. They drafted TE Kerr (1st round) & WR Johnston (3rd round) to add depth to the unit.

All 10 offensive linemen return from last season. The team drafted C Commander in the 7th round for depth.

DEFENSE:
7 of 8 defensive linemen return as DT King retired. The team drafted DT Jones in the 5th round to replace him.

5 of 6 LBs return as the team lost MLB Cruz to free agency. They drafted MLB Lyon in the 5th round to replace him.

3 of 5 DBs return from last season as SS Correa retired and CB Crandall left via free agency. They signed CB Orlando & SS Owens from free agency plus drafted CB Johnson in the 2nd round to help rebuild this unit.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
K Price returns but the team lost P Simpson to free agency and as of this writing, they haven't addressed the lose.

PREDICTION: 5-11
This team has teetered along the past 2 seasons and it feels like more of the same this season. The strength of the team last season was their pass defense which ranked 8th overall and they lost almost half the unit and while those loses were addressed, it still lacks depth. They have some solid players across the roster but they lack depth throughout the roster.

PREDICTION: 13-3

The entire offensive line unit returns including former ALLPROS LG Davis & LT Whitacker.

DEFENSE:
7 defensive linemen return as the team lost DT Sims, RDE McRae & RDE Hutchinson to free agency. They signed DT Wolfe, DT Aquino & RDE Lubbers to replace the loses.

4 of 6 LBs return from last season as the team lost MLB Washington & MLB Justice to free agency. They signed SLB Bland & MLB Keim to offset the loses.

All 7 DBs return including CB Watkins who led the team in passes defended, knockdowns & Interceptions. They drafted SS Snyder in the 1st round in hopes of improving their 21st ranked pass defense from last season.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

PREDICTION: 10-6
Montana has made the postseason on even years and missed on odd years over the past 6 seasons. This is an even year so they will land a Wildcard spot. That's my deep analysis for the day. Every player that rushed the ball last season returns including leading rusher RB Super who rushed for just over 700 yards. They drafted RB Ruiz in the 5th round to add depth.

10 of 12 players who caught a pass last season return after the team lost speedy WR Montes & WR Marrero to free agency. They drafted WR Scott with the 7th overall pick, an elite duel threat receiver who could add to the rushing game.

Only 5 offensive linemen return as the team lost LG Summers, LG Carnahan & LT Bell to free agency plus LG Keller retired. They signed C French in free agency but the unit only has 6 players and they will need to add more depth before the seasons begin.

DEFENSE:
7 of 8 defensive linemen return as the team lost LDE Johnson to free agency. Johnson had 6 sacks in 4 seasons since being drafted by Saint Paul and experts believe he can be a double digit sack player in the right system. The team drafted LDE Martin in the 3rd round to add depth.

4 of 8 LBs return as the team lost WLB Cram, WLB Raper & WLB Burnett to free agency plus MLB Brown retired. Burnett was 2nd on the team in tackles, 1st in passes defended and 2nd in knockdowns. They drafted MLB Rice (4th round) & WLB Reed (3rd round) and signed WLB in free agency.

PREDICTION: 3-13
They have no speed in the backfield or the secondary and their offensive line is extremely short on depth. The strength of the team last season was their passing game but without time from a thin line protecting the quarterback, they could struggle to match last year's success

5 of 6 players who rushed the ball last season return including leading rusher RB Pirtle. They lost their 4th leading rusher RB Fletcher to free agency and drafted RB Elliott in the 3rd round to replace him.

12 of 14 players who caught a pass last season return including leading receiver WR Cora. They lost the before mentioned Fletcher plus WR Marcus retired. The two loses combined for only 9 receptions & 55 yards. The team drafted WR Ramsey (1st round) & TE Bauer (2nd round) to improve a unit which ranked 4th overall last season.

PREDICTION: 13-3

PREDICTION: 8-8

PREDICTION: 2-14

Since 2037, they have made the postseason just one time and finishing under .500 for the first time in 16 seasons last year. Week 1

The 1st week featured a key matchup between the defending Champs and NXC South Division Champs, Atlanta Dominators facing off against the Memphis Maniacs. Both teams finished 14-2 but Atlanta would win the division based on a better record versus common opponents and secure the #1 seed while Memphis became the #5 seed and had to play in the Wildcard round.

The two teams split during the regular season with Atlanta winning at home, 23-16 and Memphis winning at home, 25-13. They would meet again in the Division round of the postseason where Atlanta would dominate at home, 48-3.

Memphis hosted Atlanta in week 1 and won a game fairly easily as Atlanta made too many mistakes, missing 2 fieldgoals, turning the ball over twice and going 1/3 on 4th downs. The final score and 1st round goes to Memphis 22-7.

The Daytona Beach Bull Sharks jumped out to a 14-0 led over Los Angeles at halftime before allowing 17 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. Daytona fans had to be thinking, here we go again when Daytona would respond with 2 4th quarter fieldgoals to win the game.

Daytona had #1 overall pick Rookie RB Colunga pair with RB Pachedo to rush for 167 yards on 33 carrys as the team ranked 7th in rushing offense.

The Arizona Wranglers went to the Texas Hold'em and played a super-competitive back and forth game which featured 3 ties at 7-7, 14-14 & 21-21 before Texas took a 24-21 in the 3rd quarter. Arizona would answer with a passing TD to take a 28-24 lead in the 3rd quarter. Texas would intercept Arizona QB Fielding early in the 4th quarter but had to settle for a fieldgoal after having the ball, 1st & 10 from Arizona's 25 yard line, making the score 28-27 with 11:32 remaining in the game.

The defenses would take over the game and neither team could get past midfield and Texas had 3 final possession which ended in punt, punt & finally QB Taylor was picked off at midfield with 1 minute remaining which sealed the win for Arizona.

The Gem City Gangsters traveled to Oakland to play the Outlaws in a defensive battle. Oakland would get the opening kickoff and went 6 plays for 75 yards and a quick touchdown to give Oakland an early 7-0 lead.

Oakland wouldn't score again, missing a 50 yard fieldgoal at the end of the 1st half and Gem City put together 2 significant drives, an 80 yard touchdown drive in the 2nd quarter and a 73 yard drive that ended with a fieldgoal in the 3rd quarter which was the difference in the game.

Vancouver hosted Dakota for the 11th game between these two teams in XFL history. Vancouver was just 2-8 Alltime versus Dakota including 1-5 at home.

The first points of the game came off a Dakota sack of Vancouver QB Bennett in the end zone for a safety, giving Dakota a 2-0 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. The teams would trade scores the remainder of the 1st half as the game went into halftime 10-10.

Dakota would get the 2nd half kickoff and scored quickly on a 75 yard TD pass from QB Alvarez to WR Hunt. Back to back turnovers from Vancouver led to 9 more points as Dakota stretched its led to 25-10 with 10:06 left in the 3rd quarter.

Vancouver's defense would slam the gates shut on Dakota and force 3 interceptions in the 2nd half but Vancouver couldn't find the endzone and settled for 3 fieldgoals which made the score 25-19 with 5:07 left in the game.

Dakota would take over after the kickoff with 5:02 left in the game and they would go on a 10 play/73 yard drive that chewed up the clock and Vancouver never saw the ball again.

Week 2

DAYTONA BEACH BULL SHARKS

For the first time since 2034 and only the 5th time in francise history, Daytona starts the season 2-0. The team travels to division rival Michigan (1-1) in week 3 and will try to start the season 3-0 for just the 2nd team (2034) in francise history.

In week 2, Oakland traveled to Daytona to play in the Shark Tank where they were 6-0 Alltime. Oakland dominated in the 1st half, taking a 13-0 lead into halftime and seemed to have this game won before a 4th quarter fumble with 12:08 left in the game gave Daytona a short field at the Oakland 29 yard line. Daytona scored 5 plays later to cut the score to 13-6 with 10:23 left in the game after a failed 2 point conversion.

Oakland would respond with a 10 play drive that consumed over 5 minutes off the clock and resulted in a fieldgoal which extended their lead to 16-6 with just 4:51 left in the game. On the ensuing kickoff, RB Christopher Pachedo returned the ball 105 yards for a touchdown that made the score 16-12 after another failed 2 point conversion with 4:31 left in the game.

Daytona, despite having all 3 timeouts and over 4 minutes left in the game, kicked an onside kick and recovered the ball on their own 43 yard line. The gusty moved payed off and Daytona kept the pressure on when they converted a 4th and 4 at midfield. The drive was extended twice on defensive pass interference penalties on Oakland with the 2nd penalty giving Daytona a 1st and goal from the 1 yard line with 1:06 left in the game.

A couple plays later, Daytona hit paydirt when QB Powers hit TE Maxwell on a quick Curl and after a 3rd straight missed 2 point conversion, Daytona had the lead 18-16 with just 0:59 on the clock. Oakland would turn the ball over on downs after they failed to convert on a 4th and 10 and Daytona would take a knee and win the game.

Daytona has shown they aren't the same Ole Bull Sh@#$ and are finally becoming the Bull Sharks. The team is led by a dynamic pair of RBs including rookie #1 overall pick Colunga and 5th year back Pachedo who combined for 119 yards rushing in the game.

It's still early but Daytona has shown they aren't the same team that would have lost a game like that in past seasons. The entire team has improved as they enter week 3 with the 17th ranked offense & defense.

TORONTO TITANS

Toronto was a doormat for the 1st 17 seasons in the XFL, never finishing with a winning record during those difficult season. In 2034, the team was bought by a new owner (dangalanti) and they had their 1st winning season in 2035 followed by their 1st postseason appearance in 2037. Last season, they finally won their 1st postseason game after barely making the playoffs with a 9-7 record as they were the 4th team in the AXC North to make the postseason after losing their last 3 regular season games.

In the postseason, something clicked and they knocked off their division winner in the Wildcard round 17-3. They traveled to Dakota who was the #1 seed and had a 15-1 record and knocked them off 16-12 making their 1st AXC Conference Championship game where they battled Buffalo in a close game but lost 17-12.

The talk all off-season was would Toronto use that postseason run as a springboard to take the next step into the upper echelon of teams in the AXC and the XFL?

After 2 games, the answer is a resounding yes! Not only have they started the season 2-0 but they have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 53-2. They have the 5th ranked offense and 6th ranked defense after 2 weeks after beating division rival Cincinnati on the road 33-2.

Toronto has been led by RB VAN Gillespie who is 2nd in the league and 1st in the AXC in rushing with 252 yards. QB Steven Stiner has been efficient managing the game and currently is 3rd in the XFL with a 102.73 QBR as he hasn't turned the ball over through 2 weeks.

Fans have to be cautiously optimistic because Toronto did start last season 6-0 before going 3-7 the final 10 games and we will learn more about this team as they host Philadelphia (2-0) in week 3.

Memphis Maniacs

Memphis, QB Alvin Johnson and rookie WR James Fain came out of nowhere last season and took the league by storm. The team finished 14-2, Johnson was named league MVP and Fain won the receivers triple crown as both both players were named to the ALLPRO team. The team would fall short to the eventual XFL Champion Atlanta Dominators but the excitement for the future seemed unlimited.

The major question this off-season was could QB Alvin Johnson even come close to last seasons results. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2031 draft, had 7 seasons as starter including losing the starting job in 2036 before regaining the job again in 2037. He had 1,500 more passing yards and 33 more TD passes last season then his career highs in the previous 7 seasons as starter.

Through 2 weeks, the answer to that question and questions about the team and WR Fain appears to be that all of them are here to stay.

QB Johnson leads the league in passing yards (628) and is 2nd in passing TDs (5) while throwing just 1 interception. WR Fain has started slower but still is 5th in receptions & 4th in receiving yards as defenses focus on him which has left WR Joseph Moore to benefit as he is also 5th in receptions & 2nd in receiving yards.

Memphis has started 2-0, has the 2nd ranked offense and 7th ranked defense and won their first 2 games by a combined score of 60-12 both against division teams including tge defending Champs!

ZEHLENDORF ZECKEN

The Zecken were once one of the premium francises in the XFL when they had a 5 year stretch from 2030-2034 where they won 4 NXC Conference Championships & 2 XFL Championships.

Since thise glory days, the team has missed the postseason in 6 of the last 7 seasons including the last 5 straight seasons. The team has been under new ownership for the last 7 seasons and they showed signs last season that the turnaround may happen soon. Off-season predictions had them finishing around 8-8 with a chance to possibly challenge for the postseason.

Through 2 games, things are looking up as they have started 2-0 including a 22-6 win over Los Angeles in week 2 which is a team who beat them last season 20-7.

The team has been driven this season by their defense which ranks 4th overall, 4th in rushing & 4th in passing. An improvement from last season where they ranked 24th, 18th & 28th respectively.

Week 3 will be a good test as they step up in weight class when they travel to Vegas (1-1) to play a team who has made the postseason for 9 straight seasons including winning 3 NXC Conference Championships (2038-2040) & 2 XFL Championships (2039/2040).

INDIANA FOG

This francise was bought by a new owner in 2037 (Mlowe) and moved from Denver to Indiana in 2038. The team has slowly showed improvement including a postseason trip as a Wildcard in 2040 when they finished 9-7 before they took a step backwards last season to finish 7-9. They collapsed down the stretch last season, losing 4 of their last 5 games including 2 loses by 3 points which kept them out of the postseason.

Off-season expectations had them bouncing back this season and competing for the AXC West Title.

They started this season 2-0 and for the 3rd straight season they have started fast. QB Fitzgerald has retained the starter job and has been decent leading Indiana to the 14th ranked offense in the league. The offense is led by a RB duo of Allen & Collins who lead the leagues 9th ranked rushing attack. ALLPRO TE Lee has picked up where he left off last season and leads the team in receptions (13) & receiving yards (154).

In week 3, Indiana host division rival Vancouver as they try to win the 1st 3 games of the season for the 1st time since 2033. Indiana is 10-14 Alltime versus Vancouver at home and has won the past 2 meetings.

STAT OF THE WEEK

Nobody has had more passes thrown his way as CB Frank Moulton (VAN), a 2041 1st round draft pick has defended 29 passes in 2 games. It might not being the brightest idea as he has 4 knockdowns & 4 interceptions. The 4 interceptions through 2 games puts him on pace to shatter the single season record of 13 interceptions held by CB Michael English (DAK) & CB Rick Henry (BUF) in 2028 & 2036 respectively.

WEEK 3 GAME OF THE WEEK

Philadelphia Slayers
@
Toronto Titans (-2)

The only game in week 3 between undefeated teams as we are down to just 11 teams without a lose.

Philadelphia has the #1 offense including the leagues #1 rushing offense going into Toronto who has the 6th ranked defense & 7th ranked rush defense.

Toronto has the 5th ranked offense including the 3rd ranked rushing offense going up against Philadelphia's 13th ranked defense & 14th ranked rush defense.

Philadelphia is 10th in passing offense while Toronto is 12th going against Philadelphia's 15th ranked pass defense & Toronto 5th ranked pass defense.

Toronto has a 0 turnover margin versus Philadelphia's -3 turnover margin.

PREDICTION

This should be a quick game as both teams want to play smash mouth football and run it down their opponents throat.

Toronto is home, has a better defense & turnover margin so I'm predicting Toronto wins in a close game 17-16.
