Throw in the 5th-round dud that got drafted and cut immediately because it hit at like 3 a.m. local time and I didn't clear my duds deep enough before going to bed and this was basically a wasted draft that'll hang a lot of dead cap into next season for the Islanders.

The first rounder will cover beautifully and lightning jump on routes.

The sim engine doesn't like to give high volatility QB plays for some reason. I'm surprised the WR didn't hit off for you because you were attempting an 80 speed high vol attempt. I -think- the sim may safeguard too many 93+ speed new player entries.

Not much good in Gem City camp. Live by volatility, die by volatility.

A disappointment, but not disastrously so. He can at least serve as depth until I can get rid of him. My search for a long-term answer continues.

3.29 TE Kyle Bermudez Vol: 72 +9/+5 Now 41/73

I have been blessed by the incumbent, but he is getting a little long in the tooth. This came along just in time.

3.32 RT Kenneth Nalley Vol: 38 +9/+1 Now 48/73

I sooo need a better pass blocker over there.

4.29 WLB Ian Suarez Vol: 38 +5/+0 Now 34/52

Strictly a benchwarmer, I hope. He's fast, but not much else. Jameson will cut in front of him when Stevens hangs it up.

4.32 P Charles Silva Vol: 100 +0/-17 Now 46/72

The problem with paying these guys a bonus is that it costs me to get rid of them. This guy's so obnoxious, I'll probably bite the bullet.

6.32 K Nathan McCall Vol: 80 +8/+5 Now 52/79

I sorely needed this long-term answer. Problem is, I needed the punter worse.

He would have really needed to boom to make himself worth keeping.

Would have liked to have seen at worst a low bust as we really needed to shore up the RB position. Still better than what we have, but not what we expected

The lone bright spot in the draft. Not particularly a burner, but a good quality WR. Should be a starter for years to come

3-2 George Hudson CB Vol92 4/-11 35/60
Really hoping for a diamond in the rough with the high Volatility. A little speed, but not much else. If he was taller, maybe a change to LB would be in order, but at 5'8", he's definitely a CB

4-4 Michael Bogart TE (LT) Vol64 1/-14 28/58
The worst TC of everyone. We had hoped that he might be a pleasant surprise, but just disappointed us...seemed to be the trend this year

I think this one was AI. Not pleased, but not exceptionally discouraged. Wasn't expecting much. Got exactly that....

7-4 Steven Barfield CB Vol8 6/1 34/58
Another CB that would look better at LB, if not for height. A little taller, at 5'11", so not completely out of the question, but what do you really want out of a 7th round pick

I've got 3 players I'm gonna have to let them rest for a game and then Sneaky Smurf bring them back for Preseason Game #3 to finish their conditioning while lesser dinged.

I feel like Muhammad Ali...bobbing and weaving...floating like a butterfly and regular season stinging like a bee!
