The game featured 5 lead changes including 3 in the 4th quarter as Dakota managed to hold off Buffalo. Both teams had 100 yard rushers and 100 yard recievers and the game was decided in the 4th quarter with 3:02 remaining when the score was 38-37 Dakota and they had a 7 play 39 yard drive which ended in a fieldgoal and left just 0:16 left on the clock.

Zehlendorf makes their 2nd straight XFL Championship game behind a strong performance by RB Ronald White who had 17 carries for 105 yards and 2 rushing TDs. Carolina stuck around early and actually led 10-7 at 13:41 in the 2nd quarter before Zehlendorf ran off 21 unanswered points to put the game away.
