You're welcome and good luck. :) I played him early on in the season. Dig in deep, it's a thicket to cut through on what he has set up. Tough to penetrate.
Looking at Houston's 2 playoff games, both close low scoring wins, and their lone loss and it seems those teams ran some Cover 2 with success against his offense. Generals don't use those defenses, in fact I have ran the same defensive plays for several seasons. I'm a believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it", and my defense is still stout. It may come back and bite me but I'm rolling out my usual defense.
When I have the ball, my team has very little familiarity with the defenses he uses most. He has only used 10 defensive plays all season, so they'll be scouted, but it still worries me. I'm going to need my Johnsons to hit the holes hard and get me some yards in the running game (To anyone reading this...yes I know what I just typed...my RB's are Rudi and Magic Johnson, you sicko haha).
The way I see it is I have 2 choices. I can change a bunch of stuff to try to counter Houston's strengths or I can stick with what got me to this point, and just do some tweaking to play selection and trust my team. The fact I am here typing this now tells you I'm just tweaking some stuff.
If it doesn't work, I'll lose 34-13. If it works, I'll win 19-16.
