Isn't it 50% for HC
30% for oc/DC
10% for position

Then you get into the difference from a 100 coach to a 70 coach

It's supposed to be like that but I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes. I haven't noticed one at all

It should be and JDB has said he had plans to make coaching more involved but it's sorta window dressing right now until he finally makes the necessary changes.

Right now, I waste zero effort signing or keeping coaches since it makes no significant impact other then the Head Coach who gives you a playback!

It's another, 1 day thing

I did experiment with it a few years back and signed the youngest, lowest rated positional coaches I could find, age 28/rated 42.

I saw no changes during camp or the season and I ended up winning the Conference Championship but lost in the Title game!

No effect.

It's all in your control with your play calls and over-rides.

Plus schedule. You probably upgraded to a Bruno-AG etc conga line non-division.

I've actually played Cincy and Houston so far - Pittsburgh is next, so I may be lucky to break 100 yards of total offense. I get to look forward to the Memphis/Atlanta beatdowns later in the season.

I don't have as many offensive and defensive rules here as in other leagues, but with such a huge dropoff year over year and the OC the only change in the equation it seemed logical that coordinators have something to do with playcalling, even if it's ultimately the HC's playbook.

If it means anything dang, I spent over an hour game planning for you because I knew I needed to open with a win in the division after last season.

Do me a favor and let your dog eat your homework for week 4, ok? lol

My best WR retired at age 30 this season and I've been juggling my depth chart to try to get something jump-started, it just hasn't happened yet.

Yeah, that happens. That was me last season. Just no elite weapons.

I just want coaches who are moving up in ratings, then I just resign them to $1 raises every year. I don't spend much time on it other than FA1, sometimes FA2 if I don't sign all my coaches the first time.

Had 3 coaches retire in USFL, ****. Time to look for young coaches with upside.

It's funny because Hammond's Title in the USFL is his first in any of my primary leagues!

USFL, XFL, D&D & Q&D

I count them as primary leagues because they all have at least 10 what I consider "elite" owners in them!

Maybe there are more such leagues but If I don't play in them, they really don't exist to me!

In NFL League https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/hall-of-champions Hammond just beat my Raiders in the Super Bowl and the previous season he lost the Super Bowl to Lemon. That league is almost always full with plenty of tough owners/GMs, just not in my division. The Raiders have won the division 27 consecutive seasons, or every one but the first.

I know we are spoiled with content and this is not a push for it, but I was waiting all weekend for a drop to read. Quality isn’t immediate though. But I’m a subscriber. :)

Haha. I know we are getting into the thick of holiday season so be safe everyone and enjoy.

Ceding ownership of his leagues and heading on that Midnight Train to Georgia.
