2052 off-season thread

Another great season has ended and we begin season 35 of the XFL tonight with the end of season spin.

I hope everyone returns but we lost 4 owners total so far and I filled 1 opening so we are down 3 owners now and the EOS spin always means more owners probably leave.

I sincerely hope not but with the untimely death at my job, I've been working anywhere from 12 -16 hours a day the last week and I'm hoping they fill the open position (the position I'm currently in) really soon. Not only don't I want the post but I really should not be in the position at all!!

I'm expecting any day now, someone to walk into my office and escort me off the property as they accuse me of taking a position I don't qualify for and question how I even have a job with the agency in the first place!

Until then I do the best I can and hope they find a qualified candidate so I can return to my original position and original life!!!

Would it be unreasonable to ask for a pause after the end of season spin? At least one day, considering all the changes that need to happen, new owners, retirements, coaches, AND the first round of free agents, it’s a lot of things to go over that you can’t necessarily prep for before it happens. I know I’m not the only one who thinks it’s a bit excessive for one 24 hour period, especially if we need to recruit a handful of new owners to fill out the league and give them a fighting chance…
