Given the result of our first meeting, I really hadn't been expecting to advance past this one, so definitely think the better team came out on top. Don't know why we would call a running play in the final minute down by 1...that one still has me head-scratching.
I think thats the luck part . calls are pretty random..they will be in your book and plan but using no rules i dont expect any great strategy or timely call. I do get something by setting hurry up to 8 and slow down at 2, but i feel early timeouts and bad calls plague all coaches.
The code uses the score to factor the decisions of that run call...along with a bunch of other stuff. But the score was close so i think thats why you ran it, but who knows... especially if you use rules.
