We are just past the midpoint of the season so let's take a look at the overall playoff picture in both Conferences.

AXC

An amazing 13 teams are within 2 games of a playoff spot. Two of the four divisions have all 4 teams seperated by just 2 games with a third division having 3 teams within 2 games and only the East a forgone conclusion. Miami, New York and New England seem on the outside looking in.

NXC

Only eleven teams are within 2 games of a playoff spot. Three of the four divisions have 2 teams tied for first place with the fourth division having the division leader with a two game lead. Washington, Tampa Bay and Memphis are the teams on the outside looking in.

It appears that Texas has returned to its former glory of making the wild card only to not be able to get past Dakota lol

I'd love to be a wild card at this point, but we haven't won enough.

Hang in there....Dakota is aging out and will be hard pressed to keep up its winning ways in the very near future.

1. #1 Buffalo Skull Crushers (11-0)
2. #5 KC Chaos (9-2)

3. #2 Dakota Blizzard (9-2)
4. #23 Pittsburgh Blitzkrieg (4-7)
5. #15 Texas Hold'em (7-4)

WEST
KC has a 3 game lead over the other 3 teams in the division and with a 5-0 division record look like a lock to win it.

EAST
Buffalo had already clinched the division crown.

NORTH
Somebody has to win this thing with 3 teams tied at 4-7 but Pittsburgh has the slight edge with a 3-1 divisional record. Both Houston and Toronto sit tied at 4-7 and both have a 2-2 divisional record. At 2-9, Cincinnati is still alive to win it but would need lots of help based on their 1-3 division record.

SOUTH
Dakota has a 2 game lead over Texas and is 4-0 in division having swept 2nd place Texas.

NXC

1. #3 Philadelphia Slayers (10-1)
2. #6 Atlanta Dominators (8-3)

3. #7 St. Paul Punishers (8-3)
4. #8 Vegas Black Aces (7-4)
5. #4 Brooklyn Hitmen (10-1)
6. #12 Carolina Cobras (8-3)

7. #9 Gem City Gangsters (7-4)
8. #10 LA Challengers (7-4)
9. #18 Chicago Avengers (5-6)
10. #16 Montana Grizzlies (5-6)
11. #22 Providence Islanders (4-7)
12. #24 Arizona Wranglers (4-7)

WEST
Philadelphia and Brooklyn sit tied at 10-1 with both having a 3-1 division record and they split the season series.

EAST
Vegas and LA sit tied at 7-4 atop the division but Vegas has a 4-0 division record to LAs 2-1 and Vegas won the 1st head to head matchup with the rematch in week 13.

NORTH
St. Paul currently leads the division at 8-3 with Gem City a game behind at 7-4. St. Paul holds a 2-1 division record to Gem City's 1-1 record. This division will be decided when they play each other in both week 13 and week 16.

SOUTH
Atlanta and Carolina sit tied at 8-3 but Atlanta is 5-0 in division including a series sweep over Carolina to hold the advantage.

You have a better shot at winning the division if you can win those games against St. Paul

We aren't going down without a fight, that's for sure.
