I'm partial to Cornelius Gill since I rocked him for a bit. Shh, you didn't hear me say this but Setherick is on to something with returners.

I hit off a kickoff return TD in the last sim cycle and had another nice return which got me to thinking on something he put out there.

Gill's only 2nd ballot.....just on my mind. lol

I just wrapped up the Alltime stats thread so check it out and see if any of your players has a chance at greatness and be a part of the Hall of Fame.

A lot of it is the Bert Reynolds and Randall Cunningham Show.

The latter has stats going into the stratosphere.

It's hard to get in on return abilities alone, therefore, this was what did it for me in regards to Cornelius Gill: 16,566 total yards.

It was cool though to see his skill set get enshrined.

This time around, I decided to use NFL gangsters as opposed to regular or fictional gangsters. One of my favorite fantasy football team names of all time was Fred Smoot's Love Boat. He's a small time, wanna be gangster compared to the rest of my draftees. Nate Newton got busted with 213 pounds of marijuana, got bailed out, then while waiting the court outcome got busted with another 175 pounds. Greg Robinson only got busted once and with "only" 157 pounds.

We all know the Aaron Hernandez story. Speaking of fantasy football team names, my boss has used Hernandez Hitmen in our work money league ever since his crime spree. Darren Sharper is a rapist, while Barrett Robbins had legal problems even after he retired following his Super Bowl side trip to Tijuana. Darryl Henley is currently in prison, serving a 41 year sentence for cocaine trafficking and attempting to murder the judge and a witness.

Gangsters for sure.

5.28 C Paul Allen Vol: 38 +4/+1 Now 43/64

He still is not a long-term prospect because he'll get bowled over constantly. I need a center right now, however, and he's it.

6.28 LDE Spencer Bruno Vol: 30 +6/1 Now 28/47

He has some solid coverage skills, but he is too weak to really be a defensive end. I can't move him to linebacker, however, because his tackling is lousy. Is he fast enough to be a CB? He's an intriguing prospect to be sure, but I have nowhere to put him. I'll leave him at DE for now, and see how it goes.

Got hit up with some injuries; heal 'em and return for the final preseason game.

First time I ever had something not kick in: either a glitch or a boundary trip wire by the Beta Boyz that I've now nuanced my way out of. *strokes chin* Need to keep a keen eye on this.
