Mr. Softie's Hideaway. I know it well.

Setherick is very difficult. We engaged in deep countering in the Champions League and other places. It requires sitting down and crossing swords with him on a deep level, pretty mentally draining if you don't want to JOB.

Which is why I'm putting off this Infinity War until I can get myself amped up to put the energy in.

No wonder you get so upset when you lose!!!

I'm not spending more then 5 minutes setting up any game plan versus any opponent. I honestly don't have that kinda time to gameplan!

****!!! I already spent hours doing my Quick and the Dead weekly power rankings plus updating all the extras in the XFL constantly.

ME GAMEPLANNING

STEP 1

set depth chart based on injuries....1 minute max

STEP 2

Load saved game plan for specific team....5 seconds

STEP 3

set fatigue by position based on depth...usually no changes....20 seconds

STEP 4

Pick inside run, outside run, short pass and medium pass plays based on avg per attempt over past 32, 16, 8 or 4 games depending on league and where I'm at in that league....minor changes...1 minute max

STEP 5

Pick defensive plays by secondary....i.e....1 man deep, 2 man deep, man etc by Avg per time used by 32, 16, 8 or 4 games depending...minor changes....1 minute max

STEP 6

Minor tweaks to play matrix based on selected plays...usually no changes....1 minute max

STEP 7

hit auto scout button...10 seconds

STEP 8

check active rules...super rare changes...20 seconds

STEP 9

save adjusted game plan....5 seconds

Total Time

5 minutes...that's it

My gameplan doesn't factor in who I'm playing at all....it's all about optimizing my team to perform at their best....the rest is all about luck!!!

It's well established I'm reactionary, I never come after the person first.

I get mad when I join a league with an upstart team and a former friend VCR PM's after beating me to taunt due to being threatened with my being in the league + as an intimidation tactic.

I get mad when Ioanblood pops off out of nowhere how I'm 'merely good.' 2 recent examples.

I've never liked the guy who hits the board immediately to rub a loss in your face, which is a pretty good incentive not to lose.

When I first started MFN, I used to agonize about game planning. I would spend an hour game planning per opponent and it just got unsustainable after a while. This is good advice and is essentially what I do in terms of game planning at this point. After every 4 games in a season I might spend a little more time looking into game logs, but that's about it.

Dude,

You have a what .850 Alltime winning percentage Alltime in MFN with like 100 titles!!!!

Of course owners are gonna get excited beating you and want to crow about it!

You beat me the first 20-30 times I played you and when I finally beat you it meant I had arrived and could compete against anyone.

You take the whole disrespect too seriously....I mean you get a bad Sim and lose to a lesser owner and you jump on the forums to complain how you got screwed, the sim ambushed you and gameplan and talent wise...you completely outclassed you opponent.

That opponent has probably LOST every game to you in the past.....BAD...and that win....no matter it was based on a **** Sim roll....is his SUPERBOWL MOMENT!!!

You are one of the best if not the best and I honestly don't understand why you let anyone get under your skin...you are as vocal as anyone in the forums and I've seen you OVER REACT to anyone that even mentions you in a post.

Do you ever stop to thing what it feels like to lose to somebody over and over again and feel like you don't have a chance of winning??

If somebody can't brag because they beat you 1 time then I don't know if anyone can brag about anything!!!!

In the end...this is a game...I get you want to win every game and work hard to obtain that but you cant...like it or not...LUCK is a factor ALWAYS.

It's easy to be respectful to an opponent when you win all the time but it's in a lose where the true character of a man shines brightest....especially for someone like you who rarely loses.

I think you have put a target on yourself because owners realize they can't beat you but also know they can get under your skin with a few words and BLAME!!! THEY WIN....in a sense because they know they got under your skin...they feel a sense of control!!!

Let me see if I can find a clean version of Erick Sermon's "Hostile." Voice over lines in it = "you're quite hostile. I've got a right to be hostile."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SUDm0BvCGo

Mean, unfair things done were Gustoon removing me before a game is played and after I worked my *** off on the set-up because he was getting worked on PM like you do. However, you don't cave in. I smiled when I beat him in Victory - he complained and I got removed there. I've been over the NCAA thing...

True Fans put 100 positional rules for the very next game to halt me. That and Paydirt I picked up bottom dwellers and got 'em steam rollin' and peeps said oh no - went to PM and got a million rules put in to knock me down with a weak team I had no other moves with and to hold their positions.

The PM thing only feeds me. It's not cool and it's cowardly.
