I'm glad you are gonna stick around in Death & Destruction and trust me the switch to version 4.6 has seriously made scoring points and moving the ball on offense difficult. You need the right type of players using the exact right plays to have any success. The new version has limited the ways to be successful in my opinion. At least in version 4.5, you had a few different ways to win and had more range in play calling. Yes, the FL hitch and HB flare were important but their were 20-30 other plays that has success.

I had no illusions I would win based on me using a rookie QB who is nowhere near developed enough for prime time. He is 26, 35 and 52 points away in 3 attributes before he reaches his potential. His 74 current pass accuracy definately led to 4 interceptions along with some bad luck. Hopefully, we meet again later after he gets to develop some more and gain some play knowledge.

It was a difficult decision to go with the rookie after Matson won a title but its a longterm solution and when better to make an uncomfortable switch then after winning a title?

This was my biggest fear about the decision to prematurely switch to version 4.6....losing owners out of frustration... I knew this was coming and said so very publicly but of course "CAPTAIN DEFENDER" made it sound like sour grapes because I couldn't personally win using the new version.

What he and others fail to realize is I don't need to have personal success to enjoy this game. I enjoy seeing new owners win and experience winning Titles. My focus now and always has been to bring life into my leagues through all the extra content I add.

I'm an old dungeon master who used to create worlds and adventures for other people to explore with their characters. I love writing about these players and bringing them to life a little bit. This is a game and it's suppose to be fun and I think that gets lost sometimes. I don't want to think about the code and ways to beat the code...I want to play football!!!
you're a good guy CJ and you definitely are the best league admin I've ever seen in this game, probably any game. To think you do this for all your leagues boggles the mind. See you in death and destruction. At least for a few seasons anyway.

Warrior dropped the game. I glanced around Legends and believe I saw him without logo and pulled up his card.

Pertinent because he was a fierce competitor and someone that in hindsight I have to respect even more. He didn't cry to the League Admin on PM - he came at me on the board to whine on my moves and then he 'settled' down after a bit. He was a hit the lab, work hard guy to be elite within a league. Not a Help me Rhonda, Save me Setherick....put minimum weight rules in place guy.

Dopes - the ones who got us here.

It was an unwinnable battle. Ray and Admiral clogged the threads as JDB's wingmen. He came on for a hot second to go '4.6 is here' - stayed around for half a day to assess fall out and then if I recall correctly bounced for nearly a week from that log-in time stamp. Like Jon Taffer 'my work here is done' because the dopes deluged the threads and rigged it for v4.6 to come out. It really sucks.

...also coming into play is the down with the king...gdb....smirt...whomever is considered elite mentality. Ray/Admiral pushed and a couple chimed in hoping that new code means death to smoochy, basically i.e. those dominating v4.5 would die off.

Totally missing that wow this code is a bore.

Yeah, figuring out the new code wasn't my issue. I'm averaging 250 yards a game rushing and using mostly non-RBs to accomplish it.

It's just a snooze-fest!!!

Run....run....7 yard pass....run....run....run...4 yard pass.....3 yard pass.....run....run....run....run

Check out my average per carry...only my starting QB is under 4 and my FB (243 lbs/67 speed) is right under 5.0 per carry.




I tried telling CAPTAIN (theadmiral) DEFENDER that the elite owners would remain elite while the rest became extremely frustrated with 125 yards passing a game.

In 4.5, every owner had the chance to throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs and it was a matter of figuring out what plays to use and what not to use.....now 300 yards is a unicorn and comes with its own share of problems because if you throw enough....you will get picked off nearly as many times as you throw a TD.

That's the sole reason I abandoned the passing game in 4.6 where it comes to putting up hugh numbers....why take the risk when I'm averaging 6 yards a carry.

Initially, as you know with me, I took the code change as me v. JDB and not wanting to fall off a cliff. But then...you'd think people would get it that if you leave me alone I don't have the energy/fuel to get ticked off and figure out the code. But then...Ioanblood was popping sh*t how I'm now 'merely good' and Ray and Admiral was buzzing around every chance they got to clown me. Oh yeah, Ray taunting my play makers in Victory getting injured. Their best strat would be to stfu and leave me alone. Maybe I'd build the energy as a v. JDB thing but yeah ultimately the elite will figure out how to still be elite. Give me a JAG (just a guy) or AI opponent and I got the code to where I can bash it around like a pinata.

Yep, I'm averaging over 300+ yards per game with only 76 passing yards per game. I'm currently averaging 50 rush attempts with 224 rushing yards a game in XFL. Haha!

Well not entirely, I'm still passing the ball 29 times a game but at a much lower output 168 yards per game. It's still productive with a 16/6 TD/INT ratio and just 6 sacks in 9 games. I'm averaging 5.8 per pass.

I'm running the ball 41 times a game for an average of 5.7 per carry but only 12 TDs rushing
