If I was a Ravens fan, I'd also be mad about the lack of urgency on that last drive. I get that they wanted to drain the clock so the Bengals couldn't retake the lead, but when you're offensively challenged as a team, you score when you can and let the defense do their job.
Once Jonah Williams went down the Bengals didn't have much time to throw and the Ravens defense shut them down in the 2nd half.
Agreed!!!
I've always been a big fan of Lamar Jackson and vocal supporter of him but him not playing the last quarter of the past 2 seasons is sketchy for a QB who wants a big contract.
I have to question how many big name QBs would have played with a similar injury and have in the past! Lamar Jackson has shown that he can only be effective when fully healthy because the run game is 70% of his game!
The final straw for me and the reason I want to trade him for draft picks ala Russell Wilson or creepy Watson is he wasn't at the game!!! What so called leader of a team in the playoffs doesn't even travel with his team? Moral support, motivation or simply cheering for the team should be a given in that situation...IMO!!!
It's not like the Derek Carr situation where they ask him not to be around!!
The Lamar Jackson era in Baltimore is over, we had our shot in 2019 when he won MVP and we had the #1 seed and he choked versus the Chargers of all teams!!!
Ship him to New York and let the Jets ruin him for the next couple of years!!!
