I got beat by a Group Think Tank and I enjoyed how you left MFN-23.
MFN-23 is half-filled with AIs, not exactly the most competitive league tbf
It's better than every game being a Group Think Tank.
save me, save me - tell me everything to win
None of us ever told him everything to win. Legitimately all I did was tell him about the overrides page + how to approach it (without giving him my overrides).
I guess also some stuff about player valuation early on when most new owners have no clue how to value players and get trade scammed.
Yeah, I'm too lazy to implement my own, super original strategies in most leagues where the game developer reveals how player booms and busts are distributed and there are forums available that have all sorts of tips and tidbits available to everyone, not to mention everyone's game logs have their plays listed and anyone can download CSVs to run analytics to figure out how plays work + which schemes work best.
Blondie will tell you about games where you streamed the Flat Zone at him all game long.
Yes, you are correct, this isn't anything I didn't already know. Before people figured out how to beat it, I won two rings with it in the league I was in with him. Since every elite owner knows how to beat it now, I don't use it.
Yeah, he figured out an amazing defensive scheme and an amazing offensive scheme, the former of which is easier to imitate to a smaller degree. I'll give him credit for putting that together and being the first to work that out, the same credit that I'll give you for how you schemed to get your current roster in this league to a bowl game.
Originality is overrated in this game, and especially in the current patch (since the amount of plays that work on either side of the ball seem to have decreased). If that's the hill you want to die on, then be my guest. I only care about what strategies help me win (whenever I'm not being lazy), not what strategies hurt other peoples' feelings so long as it isn't against the rules of the league.
