I hope JDB removes all my ability to influence my playcalls. It is the ONLY way forward. We can NOT allow people to do things that improves only their chances of winning. That sort of selfishness deserves to be REMOVED as it is TEARING this community apart. Can you imagine a game where people are ALLOWED to win how they want without any consideration to how you THINK they should win? That's where we are going unless we make OUR STAND here and now. Remove the game planning tab. It's 2023 and we should be PROGRESSIVE enough to see all the problems it causes. Let's DEFEND our morals

MAKE me use plays I don't want to call and are objectively bad in 99% of situations. I'm a MORON who can't count to 30 much less to 40 and need the game to automatically select my plays and limit how many times I can run a play. That's my FAVORITE aspect of playing against real people, the part where I lose all control and am at the whim of random chance instead of using my own skill against theirs.

Roster construction, customized player weights, overrides, play matrix, fatigue settings, plays selected & rules should all be removed so we can get back to REAL FOOTBALL where every game is decided by a coin flip!!!!

The way it stands now gives owners too much power to win!!!!

I hope JDB prevents us from, in his words, "violating the integrity of the game". If you're not using 40 offensive plays that include long passes, 30 defensive plays that include 4-deep zone or 8 blitzers in passing downs, or you're putting players at positions they're not listed, you're not playing MFN with the true integrity it deserves.

That's what JDB gets for when I had several 5-title game in a row losses in 2-3 day intervals while featuring losses to Ai and game plans along the way that were vanilla.

Alright, I vented over the tough L I had last night and purged it out.

Time to go to war in MFN-2.

Is anyone else noticing an uptick in interceptions? I’m throwing like 2-3 a game. Not just in this league. Feels like the DBs are closing in on the ball incredibly fast once it’s thrown.

Yeah, last I looked he was on 2/11 and not since.

I'm surveying the scene for additional pass play candidates and have written one down.

Theory: The ones plugged in are all banging at and scouting the same plays. I think it's from rotation after rotation of familiarity kicking in.

Our hero does eventually adjust the Ai to mimic the elite plays, therefore, those teams run it, too. Convergence of a repeated cycle over the course of real life year(s).

I also think the Ai is sentient and malleable.

When I kicked into turbo over-drive every cycle of daily games I was putting my QB on the game breaking record board - over and over and over and over.

But, I'm noticing that it moved along with me, figured it out and then I had to put in a new rule to trip wire it late in order for me to do my thing.


The Ai is definitely written to shut you down if you keep giving it the same pattern. I've seen tons of stuff over the years and it's also why Michael77 would be like hey why did my QB throw 7 interceptions when he'd hit off the Hitch and Flair without nuance or engine massaging.

That is interesting and squares with what I’ve seen. Maybe time to rotate plays.
