We have wins over Empire and Vandals... I think you are right! 1. You need to win 2. Have Vancouver & New York lose 3. Have Houston win This creates a 3 team tie for the 7th Seed which you should win. If Houston also loses and it becomes a 4 team tie at 10-6 then I think Pittsburgh is eliminated due to division tiebreaker based on Conference record. Who knows....I could be wrong but I'm 90% certain that's how it plays out! |

Somebody had to win the South Division and hats off to Orlando for unseating Dakota but Orlando feels like a team that doesn't belong with the other 6 playoff teams as the rest had at least 11 wins. Orlando is at home and has nothing to lose and historically they have the edge on the Titans. Orlando went 1-4 versus playoff teams while Toronto went 3-3 versus playoff teams. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Buffalo Skull Crushers (11-5) @ New York Empire (11-5) ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ BUFFALO RECENT POSTSEASON: 29th straight APPEARANCE: 29th DIVISION TITLES: 26 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 9-10 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 4-5 PLAYOFF RECORD: 39-24 HOME: 29-10 ROAD: 6-9 ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ NEW YORK RECENT POSTSEASON: 3rd straight APPEARANCE: 6th DIVISION TITLES: 3rd CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 0-0 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 0-0 PLAYOFF RECORD: 1-5 HOME: 1-1 ROAD: 0-4 ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ HEAD TO HEAD REGULAR SEASON: Buffalo 56-6 Alltime 30-1 Home 26-5 Road POSTSEASON: Buffalo 1-0 Alltime 1-0 Road 28-10 (2046) ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ANALYSIS These division rivals split the regular season series this season with both teams winning at home. Buffalo has owned the East for decades but fell short thus season as New York won just their 3rd division Title and first in 30 years. Historically, Buffalo has owned New York with a 56-6 Alltime record in the regular season plus winning their one postseason matchup but Buffalo does lose more on the road versus New York and in the postseason so New York has a chance. New York has won 2 of the last 3 games at home versus Buffalo in the regular season. WILDCARD WEEKEND
AXC GAME OF THE WEEK ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Buffalo Skull Crushers 47 @ New York Empire 53 ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Buffalo received the ball to start the game and started the drive from their own 14 yard line after an ill advised return. They drove 6 plays to the New York 48 yard line but in 4th & 5 QB Matthew Whitney was sacked by RDE George Carroll for an 8 yard lose and they turned the ball over on downs. New York took over on the Buffalo 44 yard line and they moved the ball to the Buffalo 33 where they attempted a 50 yard fieldgoal and missed to keep the gane scoreless at 8:53 left in the 1st quarter. Buffalo started their 2nd possession on their own 40 yard line and 3 plays later QB Matthew Whitney hit WR Elijah Diller for a 35 yard TD. Buffalo went for the 2 point conversion and succeeded to take an 8-0 lead with 7:20 left in the 1st quarter. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737789 New York started their 2nd possession from their own 25 and it took 7 plays to score a TD which was highlighted by QB William Jennings pass to WR Jarred Ramos for 52 yards to make the score 8-7 Buffalo with 3:52 left in the 1st quarter. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737797 Buffalo began their next drive on their own 25 yard line and on 4th & 9 from their own 26, Buffalo stayed true to form and went for it and failed which set up New York with great field position just outside the redzone. New York would reach the Buffalo 4 yard line but on 4th & 1 they elected to take the points and kicked a 21 yard fieldgoal to take a 10-8 lead with 14:16 left in the 1st half. Buffalo started their next possession from their own 25 yard line and on the first play of the drive QB Matthew Whitney was picked off by MLB Frank Gilbert which set New York up at the Buffalo 32 yard line. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737814 New York moved the ball down to the Buffalo 12 and after a false start on 4th & 1 they settled for a 34 yard fieldgoal to extent their lead to 13-8 with 11:20 remaining in the first half. Once again, Buffalo began from their own 25 and on 4th & 14 from their own 21 yard line, Buffalo kept the pedal floored and went for it and Whitney completed a 6 yard pass to WR Earl Coddington which was way short for the 1st down but New York was called for defensive pass interference which gave Buffalo an automatic 1st down. 3 plays later, QB Matthew Whitney hit WR Joseph Moore on a 65 yard TD and added another 2 point conversion to take a 16-13 lead with 9:33 left in the 1st half. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737830 New York started from their own 25 yard line and converted a 1st down at the 36 yard line but a 9 yard lose on a sack by LDE Michael Parenteau put them behind the chains and they would punt the ball back to Buffalo. Buffalo started the next drive from their own 21 yard line and put together a 16 play drive where they converted on 4th & 10 then later 4th & 1 to score a TD on a 13 yard pass from Whitney to Moore plus added another 2 point conversion to take a 24-13 lead with 1:19 left in the half. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737858 New York would be conservative and ran the ball 3 times as time expired and the 1st half ended with Buffalo ahead 24-13. New York got the ball to start the 2nd half and quickly & quietly went 3 & out and were forced to punt. Buffalo started their first 2nd half possession on their 32 yard line and after moving the ball to their own 46 QB Matthew Whitney threw his 2nd interception of the game to CB Anthony Mills. New York had great field position on their own 45 yard line and drove to the Buffalo 33 when QB William Jennings hit WR Steve Finch for a 33 yard TD to make the score 24-20 after the extra point with 8:46 left in the 3rd quarter. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737880 New York started the subsequent drive from their own 25 and QB Matthew Whitney hit WR Earl Coddington for 31 yards to move the ball to the New York 33 yard line. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737884 On 2nd & 10 from New York's 33 yard line, QB Matthew Whitney threw what appeared to be his 3rd interception of the game by CB Martin Dalrymple who returned it 25 yards to the Buffalo 49 yard line but New York was called for defensive pass interference which gave Buffalo a 1st & 10 from the New York 25 yard line. On the very next play, QB Matthew Whitney did actually throw his 3rd interception of the game to CB Robert Sargent who also returned it 25 yards to their own 38 yard line. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737887 New York would go on a 7 play drive which stalled at the Buffalo 20 yard line where they kicked a 37 yard fieldgoal to make the score 24-23 Buffalo with 3:13 left in the 3rd quarter. Buffalo would again have another ill advised return on a kickoff where they began their next drive on their own 13 yard line. QB Matthew Whitney hit WR Earl Coddington for 36 yards followed by another pass to Joseph Moore for 7 yards which placed them on the New York 44 yard line before CB Steven Holloman ran the ball for 7 yards and fumbled which was recovered by CB Marvin Torrey. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737899 New York started from their own 35 but on 4th & inches from their own 45 they stayed conservative and punted the ball to Buffalo and pinned them in at their own 10 yard line. QB Matthew Whitney hit WR Elijah Diller on the first play and it went 90 yards to the house before they added another 2 point conversion as Buffalo extended their lead to 32-23 with 5 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/9864#1737904 New York has forced 4 Buffalo turnovers plus forced 2 turnovers on downs deep in Buffalo's own end yet they find themselves down 9 points entering the 4th quarter. They began their next possession on their own 25 and moved the ball out to their own 45 but on 4th & 4 they maintained their conservative approach and punted the ball back to Buffalo. Buffalo started this drive on their own 15 and put together an 11 play drive which stalled at the New York 27 after Matthew Whitney was sacked for a 10 yard lose by RDE George Carroll which set up a 4th & 20 and surprisely Buffalo elected kick a 44 yard fieldgoal which made the score 35-23 with 8:00 left in the game. Vancouver is playing in their 2nd XFL Title game as described above where both are versus Atlanta. Atlanta is playing in their 11th XFL Title game where they enter 9-1 Alltime including winning 7 straight XFL Titles. Atlanta's only lose in an XFL Title game came way back in 2019 in their first appearance when they lost to Oakland. Atlanta is looking to win an XFL record 10 League Championships in the 31 year history of the XFL. Atlanta's 11 XFL Title game appearances ties Dakota for the most in XFL history and Dakota has the 2nd most XFL Titles (5) behind Atlanta's current 9 and possible 10 XFL Titles. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Vancouver Vandals vs Atlanta Dominators (-10) ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ VANCOUVER Off Pass yards: 241.3 (13th) Off Rush yards: 129.3 (9th) Off Total yards: 370.6 (11th) Def Pass yards: 200.8 (8th) Def Rush yards: 81.9 (10th) Def Total yards: 274.5 (6th) INTS/game: 1.6 (7th) SACK/game: 3.7 (4th) TO Margin: +6 PASSING: Keith Garcia 3,861 yards 29/23 TD/INT 49 sacks 81.94 QBR RUSHING: Ricard Brown/Jeffrey Brunson 736 yards/690 yards 1 TD/3 TD RECEIVING: David Talty 1,151 yards 8 TD RETURNER: Richard Brown 23.0 KO return average 9.9 punt return average 0 TD KICKER: Sheldon Wallace 35/41 FG (85.4%) 8/10 50+ (80.0%) 37/37 XP (100%) PUNTER: Lawrence Whitehead 90 punts 46.7 average 42.5 net average 35 inside 20 PASS RUSH: Miguel Watkins/Tyler Hickman 19/12 TACKLES: Chad Meaux 101 PASS DEFENSE: David Hooks 91 passes defended 25 knockdowns 42.9 catch allowed percentage INTERCEPTIONS: Joseph Salerno 6 FORCED FUMBLES: David Hooks 3 INJURIES: 7 players RG Fred Stacey Q5 DT David Dodge Q6 DT Travis Romero Q5 ATLANTA Off Pass yards: 245.7 (12th) Off Rush yards: 140.8 (6th) Off Total yards: 386.5 (9th) Def Pass yards: 205.5 (11th) Def Rush yards: 43.3 (2nd) Def Total yards: 240.0 (3rd) INTS/game: 1.8 (5th) SACK/game: 3.1 (14th) TO Margin: +10 PASSING: Alan Wyatt 3,931 yards 28/15 TD/INT 26 sacks 81.00 QBR RUSHING: Leroy Bello/Daniel Stukes 1,146/705 yards 3/20 TD RECEIVING: Marvin White/Richard Morillo 1,361/1,351 yards 5/11 TD RETURNER: Leroy Bello/Dennis Moore 44.0 KO return average 2 TD 8.8 punt return average 0 TD KICKER: Doyle Allen 41/45 FG (91.1%) 10/12 50+ (83.3%) 52/53 XP (98.1%) PUNTER: Robert Scott 103 punts 47.0 average 44.3 net average 43 inside 20 PASS RUSH: Oren Bearce/Hiram Lund 16/9 TACKLES: Kevin Tefft 115 PASS DEFENSE: Dale Wilson 106 passes defended 27 knockdowns 38.7 catch allowed percentage INTERCEPTIONS: Kevin Tefft 7 FORCED FUMBLES: Shannon Shockley 2 INJURIES: 3 players RB Gregory Maurice Q5 HEAD TO HEAD REGULAR SEASON: Vancouver 4-3 Alltime POSTSEASON: Atlanta 1-0 Alltime 2044 XFL XXVII Atlanta 32 Vancouver 10 LAST MEETING: 2045 week 16 Vancouver 17 @ Atlanta 20 XFL TITLE GAME REMATCH There have been 8 rematches in XFL history.
