To be fair, I play MFN exclusively on my phone so I have no idea how it looks or feels on PC but the original UI works much cleaner then the new UI on my phone which is a big step backwards.
Issue #2
The new UI is unfinished and JDB plans to spend all of June waiting for bug reports while doing no new work. At this rate we are looking at 2nd quarter 2025 before we have any changes to the actual sim.
I only play on the phone too. New UI is underwhelming, I agree. Bigger and clunkier, not to mention lines on side by side charts don’t align - see game results/preview on league homepage. The appearance seems aged already or as of taken from a really basic template.
Pages refreshes when sorting stats was annoying to, not sure how that is an upgrade.
Those notes are actually 101 and I feel like are clear misses. Aside from size, icons, and terrible landscape it is just the same as this, this as in the old webpage. I’m honestly confused. This looks like he just started three months ago and copy pasted as much as possible.
Understanding why some of you pay, this is why I haven’t. So thanks to you all for keeping the servers up. Not sure this is what you were all expecting with the great return of the man behind the curtain.
As a side note I guess, he did say he was working through some things. I’m just collecting details. But I did also report the bug with my team history showing other owners.
As of 7/3/24 My pro pack subscription will expire and I'll go from owning 5 teams down to 1 free team. (most likely XFL) I'm tired of supporting this **** show. Instead of fixing player creation jdb would rather put yet another band aid on the UI to force an owner to play his shitty players where he wants them to play...bull ****.
When I see positive strides in player creation I'll gladly re-subscribe.

This is pretty much where I am at this point. Not sure I have the patience to stomach the transition.
Hopefully he implements a committee of sorts and uses owners who can act as liaisons. Who knows though, some of the things RO folks are focused on are real interesting considering they are watching the game without much involvement. But as far as UI goes, there is clearly a litany of “high priority” items.
I just would have expected it to look a little less like it already does menu to menu. But yet somehow it stepped backwards visually.
We have played ¼ of the season and we take a look at a quick rankings for each division, conference and the entire league.
The formula is quick & easy where each team gets 5 points per win, -5 points per lose while adding the sum of 66-(Total offense rank+Total defense rank) and finally +/- the teams turnover margin.
For reference, the highest likely score would belong to a 4-0 team with the #1 offense & defense plus a +10 turnover margin which equals 94.
The lowest likely score would belong to an 0-4 team with the 32nd ranked offense & defense and a -10 turnover margin which equals -28.

After the rankings in parenthesis I put the current playoff seeding for each team to see how it matches for my rankings.

XFL OVERALL RANKINGS
Just for the fun of it, I put the Sims ranking in parenthesis after my rankings for comparison.
1. Toronto 77 (23) 2. Phoenix 76 (1) 3. Philadelphia 75 (5) 4. Cincinnati 69 (3) 5. Buffalo 66 (11) 6. Providence 61 (2) 7. New York 57 (14) 8. Daytona 54 (9) 9. Vancouver 53 (7) 10. Clearly the undefeated Toronto Titans are the 23rd ranked team according to the system.
