VANCOUVER
They recently lost their owner and it might cost them the division but they are holding on to a 1 game lead over both Oakland & Kansas City in the AXC West. If they lose their lead in the division, they could find themselves on the outside of the playoffs since both Oakland & Kansas City sit at the 8th & 9th seeds respectively. Four of their final five games are versus playoff contenders including their rematch with Oakland and two games with Kansas City. The search for a new owner is actively happening and it might be the other thing that saves their season. Stay tuned!!!

They find themselves in 3rd place in the AXC West, tied with Oakland but behind based on getting swept by Oakland and 1 game behind Vancouver. They currently sit as the #9 seed, just behind #8 Oakland and #7 Dakota who all sit at 6-5. They remaining schedule features 3 losing teams and 2 games versus Vancouver who just lost their owner.

They are 1 game behind Vancouver in the AXC West plus they are undefeated (4-0) in division games meaning if they win out, they clinch the division crown. They have already swept Kansas City and have a chance to sweep ownerless Vancouver in week 13. The schedule has some tough matchups down the stretch including Daytona in week 12 & Phoenix in week 15.

INDIANA
They are one of three teams with a 2-9 record which should join Texas as an elimated team as soon as next week. In fact, they travel to #7 Dakota in week 12 and a lose will officially climate them from the postseason. To make matters worse, they play 5 playoff contenders in their final 5 games. On the bright side, Indiana has three 1st round picks in next year's draft and they should wind up with a top 9 pick at worst and a top 3 pick at best.

BUFFALO
They have the best record in the Conference and currently hold the #1 seed but they only have a 1 game lead in the division since New York has the 2nd best record in the conference. Buffalo did beat New York easily earlier this season with the rematch coming in week 15 which could decide which team wins the division and locks down the Bye.

They have been a nice surprise this season and their 5 wins so far is the most wins in the last 10 seasons for the francise. They won't win the division but they currently hold the 10th seed in the AXC, just 1 game behind a trio of teams who sit at 6-5. If New England makes a run at the postseason, nobody will be able to say they had it easy as their final 5 games are all versus playoff contenders.

They are one of three teams with a 2-9 record which should join Texas as an elimated team as soon as next week. They are battling for draft position the final 5 games and they have already lost to Pittsburgh who also sit at 2-9. They play KEY draft position games the next two weeks versus two 3-9 teams where losing actually helps their draft position. This season was all about developing QB Kevin Trout and not wins as Miami should add a top 5 playmaker for Trout to throw too for the next 5-7 years.

CINCINNATI
The defending Champs started slow going 3-2 to start the season before winning 5 of their last 6 to move into 1st place in the AXC North. They have the same record as Toronto but they hold the tiebreaker based on a 4-1 compared to a 3-1 division record. Cincinnati and Toronto split the season series which means thus division race should come down to the final weeks. Cincinnati has just 1 game remaining versus a winning team plus 1 division game. If Cincinnati & Toronto both win out they would both be 5-1 in division and have identical records versus common opponents which would lead to the final tiebreaker which is net points and Cincinnati (+178) currently has a big lead over Toronto (+64).

They currently hold the 6th seed in the AXC, 1 game behind New York for the top Wildcard and 2 games ahead of Dakota for the last Wildcard spot. Their remaining schedule features no winning teams and 2 division games where the combined record of their last 5 opponents at 16-39 (.291). If Cincinnati & Toronto both win out they would both be 5-1 in division and have identical records versus common opponents which would lead to the final tiebreaker which is net points and Cincinnati (+178) currently has a big lead over Toronto (+64).

The Roughnecks started the season 0-5 before winning 4 of their last 6 games to keep their relatively small postseason hopes alive for the final Wildcard spot. The are 2 games behind Dakota for the final Wildcard spot but they are currently the 11th seed which means they have to pass 4 teams to make it and they have lost to Kansas City which is one of the four teams. They also play 3 of their final 5 games versus teams with a record of 8-3 or better.

DAKOTA
They signed former #1 overall pick QB Remy Beaucamp in the off-season in hopes of figuring out the immensely talented enigma that is Remy Beaucamp. They went 5-5 with him as starter despite having the Total yards leader WR Jose Hernandez on the team. He had some great games against lesser opponents but went 2-5 versus winning teams. He was benched after an embarrassing 54-3 lose to Providence where he threw 5 interceptions and named former 5th round QB Derick Brewer the starter. Brewer made his first ever start of his career versus Orlando and they won 50-13. So far so good but three of the final five games are against teams with winning records and we will see how Brewer handles stiffer competition. Dakota finds themselves 2 games behind Daytona in the AXC South and while that might be too much to overcome even with a win versus Daytona, they currently sit as the #7 seed despite having the same record as Oakland & Kansas City because they managed to beat both of those teams.

Seven of the last eight seasons, the Guardians finished without a losing record including six winning seasons but only 3 postseason appearances. This season they lost 5 of their first 6 games before they won two straight followed by 3 more loses. At 3-9, it's highly unlikely they make a postseason run so the focus turns to where do they draft and with games versus Pittsburgh & Miami the next two weeks, Orlando could position themselves with a top 10 pick if they happen to lose.

They drafted a QB with the 22nd overall pick and named him the starter day 1. The team remains winless as the rookie QB continues to develop but 4 loses were by 1 score or less which is a positive along with the fact they will either pick first or second in the upcoming draft where they should be able to add a legit playmaker for QB Steven Parent. Four of their final 5 games are against winning teams so their week 13 matchup with the defending NXC Conference Champs could be their last best shot to win a game.
