Wow, I did not expect to defeat the defending champs considering my offense was outscored by my defense in week 1. What an awesome way to christen Cousin Vinny's Coliseum. I would hope we're fuller than 74% next home game.
Well, I'm definitely getting the clear indication that they don't want me playing their game nor do I want to play THEIR game.
Once upon a time, the PA Bomb in the 3-1-1 set was deadly but then an individual publicly stated how he didn't like the play and vamoose shortly thereafter it disappeared in effectiveness. The same individual has decried the long passing attack for one which incorporates hooks and curls and guess what that's now all the rage. Finally, the same person has stated WRs at RB should be injured and voila I present my team here as an example.
Yeah, I refuse to play a vindictive, mean spirited game.

Pretty nasty. You spend hour(s) preparing for a new season and completely new game structure only to and here's the worst part of it....most of these changes are done in a sneaky manner ("hot patches", un-announced) as if you're not supposed to notice and just roll with injured major playmakers left and right. *heh*

Once you start intentionally giving the top offensive weapons "serious injury" designations in which they potentially come back as Pod versions of themselves (half their effectiveness was the norm in the past with RB production) ...that's how you have to take me down. ha ha cowards

Finally, there's this negative connotation/stigma that's stated in the 'WR's used as RB's' commentary. Going back to before hot reads and over-use penalties were put in place for blitzes it was an absolute necessity. (an assortment of Top GMs would stream 3-4 blitzes all game, scorched earth tactic which would decimate any run or pass in its path) Also, RBs were prone to injuries at a pretty good rate plus often if they got hit with a 'serious injury' they'd come back a different player. (50% diminished) You couldn't roster enough RBs to compete and to compete at an high level; especially if you had a 90/90 type per se get blasted with injury.
There's a deep root in history on why turning to faster speed and elusiveness was needed from the Halfback Position for survival in the game.
