Admiral isn't gone. He's Nosedive Neil.

I was right about Chicago Bears ='ing GDB.

I'm 100% certain nosedive isn't Theadmiral! I've spoken to him several times and he isn't even from the same country as TheAdmiral.

Do you have definitive proof of this?

Nosedive Neil was nice to me in PM, if he was The Admiral I don't think he could pull it off/keep it up with me over time.

Nosedive is a Brit and TheAdmiral is American and besides if he quit MFN and returned I would assume he would rejoin 1 of the 3 leagues he created at the least.

If I had any doubt, I would simply PM JDB and ask if they both share a common IP address which I've done at least a half dozen times and he always responds positive or negative.

The Admiral is British.

I'm not going to pour through threads to cut and paste his wording and talk, however, I definitely remember him saying something, my taking offense and his putting it off to 'lost in translation' from British talk to how we speak here in America.

The guy came in HOT in USFL and out of nowhere felt the need to talk at me. I slid in my David Robinson clever remark and he completely no sold it - stop talking to me on the thread + if you did a side by side of him and the Admiral how he talks about a game on the thread is how the Admiral would chatter about one - post match.

(side by side comparison of their 'good game' verbiage)

People do this type of stuff all the time, ever heard of cat fishing?. IP addresses are almost an archaic way of pinpointing where someone is, or who they are.

When I got a new cell phone two years ago TMobile essentially forced me to have a second phone line which would use a different IP than my personal phone, work computer, home computer, tablet etc. That is before factoring in intentional deception of an IP address. Note that intentional could be innocent or malicious - couldn't a consumer grade firewall protect or change you IP the same as one used in a more malicious/ intentionally deceptive way? Perhaps borrowing another source IP as a result?

When I read all this I tend to agree with behaviors over IPs or what someone told you. Just curious, do you all think you know where I'm from? Some may, but you might have to dig back into a forum or PM to know.

Beyond that though, this is a small community and word travels. I have my thoughts about certain owners. To note, the whole GDB logging into Billy account was identified through game logs (habits) and then was further verified when GDB admitted to doing it for Billy, as well as multiple other unnamed owners. In this case the behavior preceded the acknowledgement. That is the essence of a troll. Trolls hide.

Everyone is free to believe what they want to believe.

Besides it's not like Smirt to make outlandish accusations about owners or the developer and he definately isn't paranoid or a conspiracy theorist.

Thick

It's okay to have theories and be open to them. It is the idea actually as to not become narrow minded or act with blinders, though sometimes you do need to either put the blinders on or ground yourself undoubtedly.

I'm happy we have this place to be an open forum of documentation. Everything shakes out eventually, or people quit caring, and we will be able to refer back to here on any opinions if needed.

Like hieroglyphics to future selves

Re: The Developer.

I made the right call on setherick's Elite League dispersal draft, confirmed by Ray. JDB was literally the 'elephant in the room' on league chat for several days, data collecting.

Reason I was mad: His presence could only do me harm. Elite GMs like me, you, GDB. The fact finding mission could never help us, only hurt. Deeply peering into what we do to make us elite to strip it away would only benefit the 3-13 JD90 types, also it'd be biased. If you're the gracious league host (setherick) or a friend he PM'd with frequently at the time then the peer-in won't be designed to come for you. Therefore, I had to challenge it and get vocal to protect myself.
