Smirt talks a lot of smack but when I see someone that's not even in the league come in and talk smack, it makes me think of trolls. I think JB90 needs to take the next available team in this league.

5 years ago, I'm new to the game, a few months in and I'm learning, experimenting and figuring out player weights, roster construction & gameplanning. I was in MFN-# leagues, taking over train wreck teams and I made a bunch of trades in the hopes of rebuilding.

A thread was started CJFRED68 NEEDS TO BE STOPPED FROM TRADING!!!

I was accused of being a bad owner, someone would would ruin my team and subsequently the league and I would drop the team leaving it a mess.

I was called an idiot who didn't know what the **** he was doing and the worst type of owner which will destroy MFN!!!

5 years and 50+ Titles later.....most of them are gone and I run one of the most successful leagues in the game. IMO, it's also the best league in MFN but I'm definately bias!

My point, you can't make accusations, especially about owners cheating without evidence. Smirt has done this before and been proven wrong.

When GrandadB cheated in the XFL, a thorough and complete investigation was done before I publicly made the verdict known. It was handled via PM until the evidence was sufficient enough to prove he violated league rules.

He has stated multiple time Armoredgiraffe has access to the code without anybody questioning it or commenting.

I've talked to ColonelFailure who created the Electosports league which is private and not listed in the available leagues and he is certain Nosedive is a new owner who never played MFN before. In fact, nosedive recently joined 2 other leagues to learn.

I've also talked to JDB about someone having access to his code and he said it's impossible. The code is on his personal computer and he edits it there. Any new iterations are compiled and tested many times before being uploaded and locked onto the server which is where we all play.

MFN is his creation and he hopes to one day give it a wide release where he hopes to makes millions where he can retire. Like the XFL is my baby, MFN is JDB's baby! He would never allow ANYONE access to his pet project that could eventually be worth money.

Smirt is convinced JDB is out to get him when the truth is JDB could care less who wins or loses. Smirt, like you, me and everyone is 1 of 300 (estimated users) data points. He observes the data but never influences the data other then to change the code which effects all 300 owners.

Smirt is a great owner but he refuses to believe that LUCK is a factor when you are dealing with a sim that uses thousands of RNG (RANDOM NUMBER GENERATIONS) each sim. Skill clearly is a factor, hence Smirts .850 winning percentage but if he doesn't get the rolls...he can lose!!!!

There are no conspiracies or dark intentions!!!

I use to play D&D as a kid and sometimes my powerful party would run into a monster we should dominate but we would roll the dice to determine combat results and when rolling a 20 sided die, we rolled 1s or 2s while the dungeon master rolled a couple 20s....we would die!!!

I'm just tired of the conflicts and conspiracies.....it ends up driving owners away and starts fights where nobody wins. I just wasted time doing all this when my time here should have been doing the power rankings for 2 other leagues then adding more content to my 25th anniversary thread in the XFL.

It's bad enough I have done nothing to manage the teams I run because I spend all my time adding content for everyone to enjoy then I have to deal with this nonsense because Smirt has an issue with yet another owner.

I only ever respond . If smort stopped mentioning me I wouldn’t have to respond . I’ll let the young kid keep going thinking he’s the goat. Even when the worst manager on the game beats him. Also smort I don’t even know the rules of real American football I’ve only got into a couple years ago . It’s even more funny that I beat you haha someone with zero knowledge could beat someone that’s the best makes the game good

This was the 1st post in this thread when I created it....basically rant away but don't attack owners in this league.

My responsibility is to the XFL first, I gave Smirt an avenue to express himself and asked for 1 thing in return.

The XFL would go on without Smirt, he isn't THE reason the XFL is successful. He is A reason why it is successful because the level of competition is high.

Armoredgiraffe has access to the code according to Smirt yet Claymore, Bruno77 (2×) and Privatesnowflake beat him last season.

Explain that to me please.

Kinda makes sense since Claymore & Bruno have beaten Smirt the past 2 Title games...right?

Or maybe, just maybe, the level of competition in the league is extremely high and when great owners play one another....luck plays a factor and anybody can win!!!

The bottom line is this is a game and we all come to escape reality.
