arscola set this off?

Yeah, he's a prickly ****. Decided to come for me in the same vain as B.I.G. and then posted a deep defensive guide in the league's forum where the energy was obvious - GDB-like (think when the a-hole posted a deep look at my game plan before a Conference Final game with Hammond I think in PFL to put me at a severe disadvantage) to get all the other owners more competitive to give me sh*t.

Not surprised he fed off that and became a 1-streamer.

I don't think that defensive guide was too bad tbh, a lot of newbies don't know where to start.

He wasn't doing it from the benevolence of his heart; as proven by his streaming. He wrote it in a tantrum to try and take me down. Rise up an army within the league to aid him in it.

He failed, ran away and hid behind Gustoon #2 - Norm's skirt.

I mean yea his streaming contradicts that post but I don't see how that correlates to trying to take you down

The Nu-exploit. Coming your way soon I'm sure.

It's honestly more surprising to me that he didn't get a play overuse call until the 4th quarter. Not sure why you're calling it an exploit though

Don't think too hard about that, not relevant

It's a garbage call; maybe gets protected now.

However, you can start with the two defenders training in on the RB. It's an immediate click-click-boom to the WR #2 on the FL Hitch over the top; especially with a red bar and scout attack. We can start there with it.

F that call. I'd f it up, viciously.

And yet somehow my QBs are consistently hitting WR1 in the Hitch

Yeah, but that's a 'f*** up' strategy. (that 4-3 blitz we've been talking about)

You have to push through the surface and dig underneath. JDB has it set up for like an attack here and there with the FL Hitch. You fling 1 here and there at it in a game then he'll get his wish of the harmless dork route WR #1 connection.

However, if you screw with him and pound it - you can break the engine...

like his little autonomous comment.

I'll autonomous the FB Dive til the end of time, babes and I did LOL

Back to the lab this offseason. Gotta completely rethink this offense.

JDB was unfair yanking it during the middle of a campaign. Couldn't figure out a legit move and then pound it for 3-4 preseason games.

Therefore, you have to be strategic. You listed all the options and yeah, it's limiting. I wouldn't use that 46 heavy one since he toyed with it in the era of the 'advantage sack' and that left Man Under 1 and the one I opted for.

I'd be an idiot to pick blitzes with no red bar to try and go against full red bar opponents = I lose.

Ultimately, I continue to hammer at it and show JDB has a bias and is sneaky.

Noticed I get banged around and take Ls when he's around and when he isn't I get a chance to breath, game plan to dominate and survive.

Man Under 1 is the best replacement if you don't have 3-4 man cover 1. Unfortunately for me, I have neither in my XFL playbook. Time to look for a new coach.

Pass Focused 3-4 Defense seems to be full of goodies. 3-4 man cover 1, 4-3 man under 1, and a lot of base defense double blitzes. Think I'm going to make the switch and find time next week to redo my defense

I noticed that in IPFL while I was still there as my coach was Pass Focused 3-4 Defense. Experimented with it and saw that it had pretty much all the zone "alternates" besides 46 Heavy 2 Deep Man Under for those that like to roll with that. Might experiment with Run Focused 3-4 in other leagues if it has those on top of some of the 46 Heavy plays.
