No...I can't remember what the **** the league was called but it was a custom league run by Meatman.
They had a rule where every team must have at least one 1st round pick at all times. Apparently they had serious trade issues before I even joined but the bottom line was they wanted every team to have at least 1 future 1st rounder over the course of the next 3 years.
GDB traded all of his away and the last trade was voided by the admin because it left him with no 1st rounders.
Problem solved...no harm no foul....right?
No sir, GDB first said he didn't know their was a rule which is fine....now he did and the trade was voided by the trade committee....a 4 owner group who governed trades then GDB went on a tirade basically saying the rule shouldn't apply to him because he "knows what he is doing" then went on to attack every trade that had occurred recently saying they were stupid and nobody knew anything and he shouldn't be governed by a group of mental interiors.
He even attacked 1 of my trades with him saying I overpaid for some player despite the fact he was putting up ALLPRO level stats and my team was undefeated at the time (7-0).
Meatman tried to calm him down but it just kept escalating until he sent nasty, cuss heavy PMs to Meatman which was the last straw for the admin!
GDB has established of breaking the rules, saying my bad I didn't know and then attacking everyone when he doesn't get his way.
Here in the XFL, He took over a team midway through a season and never once blocked a punt or had anyone on the defensive front four who was outlawed. Once the playoffs began, he used overrides to put 90 speed WRs and CBs on the defensive front four but unfortunately for the league...he didn't block a punt until the Conference Championship game which he won by 7.
He said he auto set his depth chart and he didn't intentionally put them there but before calling him out on it. I dug into his roster and while he had 8 active ST RUSHERS on his depth chart....none of them every played a down on the defensive front four during punts which means he clearly and obviously put those 90 speed players there via overrides.
Deny....deny....deny....and I was forced to boot him and we have an A.I. Champ in the history of the XFL now plus the team he beat had been close like 5 times to winning it all and this may have been his best chance which was taken away by a cheater.
GDB is without question a cheater, a liar and has a serious superiority complex. The idea that he calls anybody out for cheating is ridiculous and GDB is infamous for being a predatory trader....ripping off new players but likes to sit on a pulpit and complain about bad trades. He is a hypocrite....plain and simple
