New England & Indiana join New York as being officially eliminated from the postseason. Realistically we are down to 9 teams battling for 6 spots as Buffalo has officially clinched the AXC East.

The defending AXC Conference Champs lost their 2nd straight game when they hosted Memphis and lost 31-13. Kansas City traveled to the big Apple to face the winless Empire and won their 2nd straight game 38-19 to pull within 1 game of the division lead. Oakland & Indiana both lost on the road, Oakland in Orlando 19-7 & Indiana at Daytona 23-10. Indiana is officially eliminated and Oakland is on the verge of elimination.

From the third straight week, Buffalo won while the other 3 teams in the division lost. Buffalo went to Houston and won 40-25 to become the first team in the AXC to clinch a playoff spot by clinching their division. Miami hosted Texas and lost their 4th straight 17-16 to all but end any hopes of making the postseason. Miami is 4 games back with 5 games to play and is behind 4 teams for the final playoff spot. New England visited the nation's capital and lost 27-3 to Washington while New York hosted KC and got doubled up 38-19 to remain winless.

Pittsburgh hosted Cincinnati is a crucial division showdown and won 36-13 to reestablish themselves as the team to beat in the North. Pittsburgh improved to 4-0 in division and leads Houston by 1 game, Cincinnati by 2 games and Toronto by 3 games. Houston hosted Buffalo and fell 40-25 to fall behind Pittsburgh in the division race. Toronto hosted Los Angeles and won 27-13 to bounce back from a tough lose to Houston in week 10. Toronto travels to Miami in week 12 before playing 4 straight division games to end the season so they still have a ton to say in who wins the North.

Dakota hosted Montana and shutout the Grizzlies 32-0 to maintain their 3 game lead in the division. The rest of the division all won too as Texas went to South Beach and held on to win 17-16 over Miami. Orlando hosted Oakland and won 19-7 while Daytona hosted Indiana and won 23-10.

Zehlendorf, Carolina, Saint Paul, Seattle & Washinton we're all officially eliminated from the postseason while Atlanta & Arizona clinched a playoff spot including Arizona becoming the first NXC team to clinch their division. That leaves 9 teams battling for 5 playoff spots including Los Angeles & Vegas who have entered the ICU and put on life support.

Brooklyn hosted Arizona and lost their 2nd straight home game 22-10 to perhaps the two best teams in the league. Providence hosted Zehlendorf and shut them out 30-0 to move into first place in the East with 5 games remaining. Philadelphia traveled to Tampa and won 26-6 to keep their division hopes alive while maintaining their hold on the 7th seed in the NXC. Washington hosted New England and won their 2nd game of the season 27-3. Providence, Brooklyn & Philadelphia are all heavy favorites in week 12.

Arizona traveled to Brooklyn and won 22-10 in a pivotal NXC matchup. The win clinched Arizona the NXC West as they become the first NXC team to accomplish that feat. Los Angeles went North of the border and lost their 4th straight 27-13 to Toronto as their playoff hopes continue to wan. Vegas hosted Gem City in another key NXC matchup for the postseason and the Gangsters won 31-28 when recently acquired QB Robbie Heath found WR John Madden for a 9 yard TD pass with 1:16 left in the game. Seattle hosted Saint Paul and won their 2nd game big 43-3 to give the Barbarian fans something to cheer about in a rough season.

One of the biggest storylines in the off-season was Arizona trading former league MVP QB Gary Fielding to Vegas after signing QB Taylor Rojas to a mega free agent contract. Below is a comparison of the 2 QBs statlines.

Gem City traveled to Sin City and pulled off a comeback win 31-28 over Vegas behind newly acquired QB Robbie Heath. Gem City has won 4 straight games and sits just 1 game behind Montana for the North division crown. Gem City started last season 2-8 before a late season surge had them comeback to win the division so can history repeat itself?

Tampa Bay hosted Philadelphia and lost 26-6 to put their playoff hopes in jeopardy as they trail Philadelphia by 2 games plus lost the head to head matchup.
