Typo alert...It's Tim "Ripper" Owens, not Jones. Nice to see a former player still doing well, plus I have an All Pro center again.

There could be more, but as this was a former player that I renamed, it was easy to spot.

NEWS & NOTES (POSTSEASON)

With the postseason under way let's take a look at some players making noise in the postseason.

PASSING

QB Robert Alvarez (DAK)

Alvarez played his 17th postseason game in his 8 year career and threw for 254 yards & 2 TDs. He now ranks 5th Alltime in passing yards in the postseason with 4,917 yards. He needs 347 more yards to tie HOF QB Ricardo Dobbs (BUF) for 4th Alltime. He is now tied for 3rd Alltime in passing TDs in the postseason with 38 TD passes. He tied former league MVP Drew Lock (ZEZ) for 3rd Alltime and needs 5 more TD passes to tie for 2nd place with former league MVP Kenneth Powers (SPP).

If Dakota can make a run to the Title game then Alvarez has a chance to be 2nd Alltime in both passing yards & passing TDs as he needs just 736 yards passing yards & 6 TD passes to become 2nd in both categories. It's a good chance Alvarez is still young because he will need to accumulate 5,677 passing yards & 27 TD passes to catch HOF QB & XFL Legend Randal Cunningham (DAK) for 1st in both categories.

QB Michael Ceron (ATL)

Atlanta has yet to play a game this postseason but their signal caller currently ranks 13th Alltime in passing yards with 3,150 and 12th Alltime in passing TDs with 21. Ceron needs 709 passing yards to move into 10th Alltime and just 4 TD passes to move into 10th Alltime. Ceron is still young and played just 14 postseason games to reach his current numbers. With 4 XFL Championships already under his belt, he is a sure fire future HOF quarterback.

QB Anthony Henderson (MEM)
He has resurrected his career since joining Memphis and currently ranks 19th Alltime with 2,255 passing yards & 14th Alltime with 20 TD passes. Henderson has done all his work in the past 3 seasons (6 games) so he can clearly move into the top 10 with enough opportunity.

RUSHING

WR Ice Inveins (DAK)
He currently ranks 2nd Alltime with 1,154 postseason rushing yards and is already 1st Alltime with 8 rushing TD. He needs 181 rushing yards to pass Bradley Pickett who split time with Saint Paul & Gem City before finishing his career with a season in Toronto and a season with Buffalo. Inveins is in his 10th season and this may be his last shot in the postseason.

WR Peter Chappell (ATL)
He currently ranks 3rd Alltime with 1,100 yards rushing & 2nd Alltime with 7 rushing TDs. It feels like it's inevitable that Chappell will become 1st in both since he is in just his 6th season plus Atlanta has won 4 straight Titles.

WR Leroy Bello (ATL)
He currently ranks 16th Alltime with 709 yards rushing & 27th Alltime with 3 rushing TDs. Bello is in his 5th season and you start to understand why Atlanta has been so dominate the past 5 seasons since they have an incredible 1-2 punch at RB.

RECEIVING

WR James Fain (MEM)
He currently ranks 8th Alltime with 81 receptions, 7th Alltime with 1,344 receiving yards & 4th Alltime with 13 TD receptions. He is just in his 5th season and needs 67 receptions, 1,438 yards & 10 TD receptions to become the Alltime postseason triple crown receiver replacing HOF Derek Looney (DAK) as the best WR in XFL postseason history.

KICKING

K Michael Larsen (BUF)
Larson is 7th Alltime with 36/42 fieldgoals in the postseason & ranks 4th Alltime with 9/12 50+ yard fieldgoals in the postseason.

K Doyle Allen (ATL)
He ranks 14th Alltime with 26/30 fieldgoals in the postseason & 10th Alltime with 7/11 50+ yard fieldgoals in the postseason. He needs 4 more fieldgoals to move into the top 10.

PUNTING

P Leonard Israel (ATL)
He is 2nd Alltime with 188 punts, 2nd Alltime with 8,864 punt yards & 2nd Alltime with 64 punts inside the 20 in the postseason. Israel played his first 6 seasons with Dakota before signing with Atlanta and he needs 20 more punts, 721 punt yards & 2 punts inside the 20 be pass P William Poulos for 1st Alltime in all 3 punting stats. Poulos played 13 seasons for Dakota.

P Chad Babcock (DAK)
He is 7th Alltime with 114 punts, 7th Alltime with 5,360 punt yards & 13th Alltime with 34 punts inside the 20 in the postseason.

DEFENSE

WLB Stanley Shade (HOU)
He is 10th Alltime with 101 tackles in the postseason.

LDE David Stover (BUF)
He is 11th Alltime with 100 tackles in the postseason.

RDE Peter Grant (HOU) is tied for 3rd Alltime with 12 postseason sacks.

All 3 of the above players were eliminated from the postseason.

LDE Oren Bearce (ATL)
LDE Joseph Fetter (ATL)
Both players begin this postseason tied for 8th Alltime with 9 sacks in the postseason.

LDE William Ray (PIT)
He begins this postseason tied for 13th Alltime with 8 sacks in the postseason.

CB Todd Smith (ATL)
He begins this postseason 5th Alltime with 33 knockdowns in the postseason. He needs just 4 more to tie or 5 to move alone into 1st Alltime in postseason history.

CB Kevin Tefft (ATL)
He begins this postseason tied for 3rd Alltime with 8 interceptions in the postseason. He needs 2 to move into a tie for 2nd, 3 to move into a tie for 1st & 4 to become 1st Alltime all alone.

RDE William Sapp (MEM)
CB Keith Mason (CIN)
CB John Rollings (PHI)
There have been 20 pick 6's in the postseason and the above 3 players are the only active players on the list. All 3 are still alive in the postseason and each has a chance to become 1st Alltime alone with another pick 6.

MISC

P Leonard Israel (ATL)
He begins this postseason 5th Alltime with 33 games played in the postseason. He will tie for 2nd most games played when they play Philadelphia and can tie for the most games played if Atlanta reaches their 5th straight XFL Title game. He would tie LG Fred Williams who played 16 seasons with Buffalo and played in 36 postseason games.

C Robert Epps (ATL)
He enters this postseason 15th Alltime with 21 starts in the postseason. He could move up to as high as 8th Alltime in starts if Atlanta makes the XFL Title game and he starts all 3 games. Nobody has started more postseason games the Randal Cunningham (32).

Epps also enters the postseason 12th Alltime with 939 pass blocks and needs 61 more to become just the 10th player to reach 1,000.

Epps also enters the postseason 6th Alltime with 787 run blocks in the postseason. He needs 50 more to move into 5th.

LG Thomas Roosa (BUF)
He becomes 7th Alltime with 767 run blocks in the postseason.

WR Peter Chappell (ATL)
He begins this postseason 11th Alltime with 1,604 Total yards in the postseason.
He enters this postseason tied for 15th Alltime with 9 Total TDs in the postseason.

WR Terrance McConkey (ATL)

WR Ice Inveins (DAK)

The ALLTIME STATS THREAD has been updated!!!

https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/3/1098?page=1#7566

The Atlanta Dominators have won 5 straight XFL Titles and become the greatest dynasty in XFL history.

You only have to look at the ALLTIME STATS THREAD to figure out exactly how they are doing it.

1. THEY RUN THE BALL AND CONTROL THE CLOCK.

Peter Chappell & Leroy Bello are 3rd & 10th Alltime in rushing yards. 2nd & 7th in rushing TDs & 2nd & 7th in rushing attempts all in the postseason.

Their starting QB for 5 Titles isn't even in the top 10 for postseason yards and has 25 TD passes to 24 INTs in the playoffs.

2. THEY STAY PATIENT AND TRUST THEIR DEFENSE SO THEY PUNT AND PLAY FOR FIELD POSITION.

P Leonard Israel is #1 in postseason punts, punt yardage & punts within the 20.

3. THEY PLAY LIGHTS OUT ON DEFENSE

Oren Bearce & Joseph Fetter are 7th & 9th in postseason sacks plus Fetter is 9th in hurries.

Kevin Tefft in 3rd Alltime in postseason interceptions while Todd Smith has the most knockdowns in postseason history.
