Also, injuries.

I think injuries fall into luck mostly but also roster management.

A deep roster with low fatique settings can limit injuries but every team gets injuries.

The timing of the injuries is the main thing. Losing a key playmaker entering the playoffs can derail a team

Injuries are also a product of the gameplan. I've seen guys use an elite CB, for example, on every down of defense, special teams coverage, and sometimes at RB. Then they wonder why a guy gets hurt while playing 100 snaps per game.

True....you can take precautions to prevent injuries....losing a starter when up big with under 2 minutes is a mistake.

Having a 90 rated RB with 90 speed.....let's call him Lambert....who dominates during the regular season then suffers a questionable 7 injury on his ankle in week 15 on his 5th carry of the game.....is bad luck

Take this roster in another league

https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/team/31

This roster has 15 +90 plus another 13 +80 rated players (my weights). This team should dominate and win most games.....they do but the team ranks like 15th in total offense based off gameplanning and is susceptible to lose to an elite gameplanner.

If you had this team....you would be practically unbeatable and have a top 3 offense....only injuries could derail you because the roster is top heavy

LOL. I'll take the team in a heartbeat if he wants to give it up. Especially with his penchant for collecting a multitude of draft picks.

No doubt he has a fantastic roster but he cant gameplan to save his life. His team has been great but with that QB, RB, TE and 2 WR combo of his....he averaged 180 passing yards per game the last 3 seasons.

If he ever learned to gameplan....watch out!

He is well known for assembling a multitude of high picks, and equally well known for not knowing what to do with them
