Yep....until JDB decides to fix this obvious clich....not much I can do about it.

If I ban it....then what? Boot any owner that blocks a punt? Like in this case, 3 punt blocks happened and you lost....ask JDB to roll back the sim because someone "cheated" per se and anyone that won in the other 3 games is pissed.

Right now its allowable in the code and JDB needs to fix it....until then we either live with it or quit the game.

I've got Gentlemen Agreements out with Crazy Razor and should I advance (which I have significant doubts I will - 10/10 difficulty game) ...one with Greg, as well. I pulled the punt blocking scheme.

Yes, I'm going to try to block some punts myself against Vegas and if I advance, I'll play it straight. I don't like winning that way, but if my opponent does it then I'm just evening the playing field.

Protection purposes. Have to gauge who's going all out and wants the win over you plus listen to the board because an opponent will write about it, therefore, you know to try and neutralize it with your own push at it.

Like I've said from the beginning.....Its a function of the current code along with all the other oddities/clitches/exploits that can be used in the game.

It's not cheating or illegal and I cant regulate it so it is what it is.

Personally, I started playing this game because I love the roster management aspect of the game. Gameplanning, overrides and rules have brought out some strange outcomes in the past and certainly in this current version.

Personally, I'm not using the punt blocking aspect because I actually enjoy the sim to be more realistic. Punt blocks should occasionally happen but this code makes it happen way to frequently. If you win using punt blocking as a main strategy then you win. It will go down in the league history and not have any asterisk by it.

You and Atlanta play a great game but let's not downplay the significance of the 2 2nd half punt blocks which resulted in an immediate touchdown and recovery at the Atlanta 16 which resulted in another touchdown. That's 14 points and you won by 5.

I decided a long time ago that I will not micro manage owners in any of my leagues. If its allowed in the code then it's fair game. Eventually, either through a hot patch or version change, the punt block will disappear and those that rely on it to win will have to adjust.

I'm not saying the league is ruined or you have to leave. It will sort itself out in the end. This game goes in ebbs and flows, I've been losing in the playoffs frequently lately after going on an incredible hot streak for a few months. The best part of this game is that their is always the next season so I dont live and die with each season....like life....it is a series of ups and downs
