Drafts are bad and have no talent anymore...that's all I hear in league chat and the forums....here are my last 8 1st round picks....all 26th or later!!!
What the 4 offensive and 4 defensive players all have in common is all 8 were on last seasons League Championship team and 7 of the 8 were starters.
Drafts aren't loaded with a bunch of 90+ overall players and neither are real NFL drafts but starters are there up and down the 1st round plus you can find starters in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th and once in a blue moon..a 5th, 6th or 7th will become a starter.
The talent is always there and you have to dig deep and find that talent. If there were 32 players rated 90+ potential then what's the advantage to losing teams but I find talent at the end of the 1st pretty much every year.
2030 1-28 WR Derek Looney 33/78
Alltime leader in receiving yards and TDs in XFL history...future Hall of Famer
2031 1.27 RB Carlton Smith 31/79
Over 5,000 yards rushing...24 rushing TDs plus over 4,300 yards receiving and 40 TD receptions
2032 1.31 CB Vincent Stoner 29/77
308 tackles...111 knockdowns...14 interceptions....46.8 catch allowed percentage on 412 passes defended and XFL XX MVP with 4 interceptions.
2033 1.26 CB Scott Nemeth 25/70
296 tackles...113 knockdowns...11 interceptions plus 50% catch allowed percentage on 480 passes defended
2034 1.27 SS Jack Easterly 38/81
200 tackles....56 knockdowns....15 interceptions and 37.8 catch allowed percentage on 262 passes defended
One thing is true if you looked at the draft from the top end heading into this one it had a couple elite low vol CBs to cement and solidify the v4.6 defense and on the flip side with offense a WR search had a huge descent into nothingness and very little top end offerings.
I can draft, too. In NCAA I was forced into drafting 7 rounds to talent collect when I picked up a garbage team + my dispersal draft ...drafting. You and I utilize our knowledge base. All you have to do is pertinent player searches and treat each pick as a battle to not f*** up.
I don't think you really need elite CBs in 4.6...average CBs can cover in that type of passing game...in fact, if you overload on offense...defense barely is a factor for most ganes
In MFN-1 last season, I did not have one CB, SS, or FS who had above 75 speed and I never once allowed a team to pass over 120 yards a game.
DBs will be essentially meaningless in 4.6, though good DBs will be able to generate more turnovers. D-line and LBs with high Run Defense and Tackling is where it's at.
You can honestly ignore defense in an allocation draft in my opinion...4.6 is your defense and what anyone can produce on offense is dictated by playmakers.
*Playmakers are 80+ speed 90+ ball carry players with decent acc and avoid fumble running the ball
If you can stack at least 4 of them and use a 25-30 fatigue for RB....it's hard to stop no matter the dline or LBs.
I drafted all defense in Big Data and have 11 great players on defense but they can't win because the offense is so bad they end up being on the field too much.
The Big Data and Professional Football League allocation drafts showed me all I needed to see.
There’s definitely some plays on defense that can stop runs based on personnel groupings in 4.6. I found a few playing in MFN-1.

4 teams with success in 4.6...the first 3 teams leaned into rushing the ball with a stack of backs swapping carries with the 4th team Smirt who attacked with passing. Smirt had great success with passing but at the cost of interceptions nearly matching TD passes.
You’re not wrong CJ. My game last night in TrueFans 4.6 my QB only threw 10 passes for 64 yards. I had 2 backs run for 130+ yards. We scored 38 points.
In MFN-1 I had two RBs rush for over 1000 yards last season and my RB3 almost hit 400.
My defenses in 4.6 are only allowing 75 rushing yards per game, so there are ways to stop the run in 4.6 but, without giving anything away, you really need to think outside of the box on defense, especially against the run.
