I got 24 in one game.
It requires a non-punter at position or a 60-80 punt timing. I'd say 80 is the max you can get at. I had a QB #1 feeding me punt blocks @ Punter for the 24 punt block game. I was like 'more, please. I'll pretend it's the Admiral I'm blasting to Kingdom Come.' lol |

It's irrelevant now, therefore, I'll share.
When CJ implemented the no WR @ RB rule I thought how can I turn it to my advantage. I made my receivers such as Weir - 100 fatigue rate while putting out a cadre of runners @ 60 fatigue. Bash and mash them up and then BANG Weir nails you with the FL Hitch etc. But wait, I need WR @ RB and can't strategize. :)

It's also why leagues with too many openings become completely unbalanced since the A.I. isn't bright enough to sign a punter like this: ![]() Who in available in free agency. Their 3rd string QB (The punter) should be cut which saves 3.5 million in cap space and this punter signed. But A.I. run teams aren't run properly so you get games like this. |

11 MFN leagues left (including Beta) with the last MFN-74 which means 63 MFN auto created leagues have folded in the past.
8 of the 11 MFN have at least 10 openings which puts them on life support. I haven't played in an MFN league for years because they are the wild west! The unspoken truth about leagues is they are only as good as the league administration running them. Leagues need strong admins to keep the league full, active and competitive. You need to recruit from a dwindling owner base, it's currently around 375 owners total and offering extra content while making rules and enforcing them keeps leagues competitive.

USFL (we'll call it the highest competitive league on the site) - if you put two helmets in a collider chamber and they constantly explode into each other at a freight train speed - picture that graphic. Ultra competitor vs. ultra competitor and all you're spitting out data wise in results is v4.6 data every single game. 100 passing yards, no big pass plays ever = zzzzzz which is on JDB for the v4.6 code. You gotta derive fun somewhere.

I don't like 4.6 much but I'm trying to adapt but I would find no enjoyment from blocking 24 punts and winning 100-0 versus the A.I. because it doesn't mean anything, it's completely unrealistic and serves no purpose in moving my team forward in solving 4.6
I already have enough issues with the anemic passing stats in 4.6 and that game completed destroys any thoughts of reality in this football sim. It might be fun to you but to me it's another tear in the fabric of what I'm trying to create/simulate in my leagues. I would be sick if that happened in the XFL and had to deal with it on a much smaller scale with Grandad in the Conference Championship game. |
