That’s just it. Pass if you want but expect sacks. I’ve seen some owners running long passes and having surprising success. Gotta hit those RBs in the flat.

Well for the USFL stats, Don Ferguson is my QB. I took out long passes completely, haven't tried 1 all season, yet he leads in yards and TDs. If I had to guess, his success is due to the multiple playmakers I have at RB, WR, and TE.
I'm a perfectionist and like CJ said I've got the biggest target, therefore, I have to patch up anything that leaves an opening or the opposing GM will try to pull it up and sack me like crazy in this case.
Remember when we were sold on how QBs scramble now!!! and then quickly learned it attached to long passing, therefore, on 1 play you'd get a 10 yard run and then on the next a -10 sack for an off-set aka useless addition.
Just slightly over 2 pages of available leagues at this point in MFN. Yikes!

JDB's first mistake was the expansion to MFN-85; got at or near mid-80s.
Public Leagues got introduced and there was a mass exodus from MFN-# Leagues.
Long story short. He was never able to re-capture the turnstile TD magic of v4.2 where you'd hit over the top touchdowns on streaks or how to dial it back a bit to appease all.
