I don't know enough to say who hammond is, but Smirt isn't the only one to think he's a ghost from the past. Infinity on Trial brought it up as well in Big Data.
I don't study game plans like Smirt, I'm closer to CJ when it comes to game planning, do it quickly and move on. If Smirt sees similarities in gameplanning style, I'd be inclined to take him at his word, because who else digs as deep as him?
What I do know is my Bears had a top 5 offense, top 10 defense and I got clowned in the playoffs like we didn't even belong. He then went on to beat ArmoredGiraffe and crushed Raymattison.
A person with 2 months in this game shouldn't be able to do that in a league full of MFN vets.
I am so telling you there's been an unfair penalty rhythm to him and his games.
Like you can't even compete because there's mounds of bullsh*t you have to overcome before it even comes down to the game plan.
re: Bryson/Hammond.
...I'd worry and I know I'm vocal but if you were to ask me to name 1 cheater or someone with access to alter game code, there'd be only one ^ beyond JDB,
Serves me right for taking a guy just to trade him. Nobody should want him now.
3.16 WLB Kevin McAdoo Vol: 10 +8/-2 Now 32/61
A position conversion that only went so-so. I played it safe with this pick, which I guess was a good thing.
4.15 CB Brian Beasley Vol: 50 +12/-5 Now 42/59
He may be moved to safety long-term, but I already have a skill-challenged guy there.
5.14 K Justin Plummer Vol: 92 +9/+6 Now 56/81
The ghost of Tony Houpt is gone for good.
6.20 C Jose Wen Vol: 100 +1/+1 Now 38/63
People might trust the AI a little more if it didn't do things like this. He just has no chance. I am 4 deep at this position, and he is dead last.
7.19 RB Gary Moses Vol: 24 +4/+0 Now 32/63
I liked last year's flier a lot better, but injuries kept me from keeping him.
UDFA K Ernest Andrews Vol: 24 +4/-1 Now 54/78
Made dispensable by the success of the draft pick.
Last year's method of avoiding speed at any cost was not a long-term strategy. I was going to need it sooner or later; it just turned out to be sooner. My only recourse is to keep taking chances on guys, and if they bust, oh well.
Toronto training camp went really well - looks like we added some quality players.
1-27 LDE William Power (30 vol +6/-2 now 42/74) - still gaining weight from conversion from MLB. Looks more useful as a pass rusher more than a run stopper. Remains higher than default even after the minor bust.
2-28 DT Jeremy Bishop (74 vol +8/+4 now 46/76) - another run stuffer to strengthen the best part of my defense.
2-29 RB John Smith (8 vol +5/-1 now 43/69) - I needed to improve my run game but probably reached for him a little bit. Fast but needs to improve pass catching and will probably fumble a lot. Looks like an RB3.
3-27 DT John Kaufman (30 vol +1/+0 now 39/69) - pretty slow but strong, will be down the depth chart and won't play a much for a while.
4-28 RT James Hoffman (100 vol +16/+12 now 63/79) - I never draft 100 volatility guys, but this one paid off. Will most likely be #2 on depth chart for both LT and RT immediately.
5-27 WR Ernest McLaughlin (100 vol +8/+5 now 45/72) - maybe I kind of like 100 volatility guys now. I have so many WRs I don't know what to do with them all, but McLaughlin will move up the depth chart when his avoid fumble improves.
5-29 WR James Cowan (48 vol +5/-1 now 43/64) - still rated higher than default even after the minor bust, but might have to switch him to RB to keep him.
6-28 LT Byron Thoms (62 vol +9/+4 now 47/69) - I was looking for o line depth, but can't run block worth a ****. I'll be watching him in preseason to see if he's a useful player.
7-27 LT John Lanier (52 vol +1/+1 now 30/53) - converted him from TE, but no blocking potential improvement. Probably an immediate cut.
If you count the speedy free agent additions of vets CB Jason Obyrne from the Nemesis and FS Edwardo Goins from the Crusaders, Toronto's #17 ranked yardage defense looks much improved from last season. About as pleased as I can be heading into 4.6.
Both my 1st and 2nd round QBs boomed +8/+6 and both have 100 accuracy potential.
Anyone looking for a starting QB...I have 2 vets and 2 rookies...all rated 82 or higher....all with 100 pass accuracy and all with 80+ intelligence.
Fielding all offers
I remember when Michael would go after every high vol QB and they'd bust. He'd be vocal about it. Dang, my motivation to dig in and battle. You're always pushing me to be better. :)
Congratulations on the hits!
My takeaway for training camp is CB - Holt: Age 30, didn't die. He has his vitals and enough speed to be a chess piece.
