Thank you and yes, agreed on the waiting game. You know it always comes back around and changes, therefore, I don't think it's wise for a GM to strip down their offensive plays to exclusively the curl, hook and flat routes while abandoning everything else. It's tricky.
You don't want to lose play knowledge of devastating offensive plays from the past in hopes that v4.5 makes them relevant again but at a minimum, as you mentioned, you do need to de-emphasize and cull out those long passing plays where the QB sits there petrified in stone to be sacked over and over again.
Basically, you let 'em win if you go 100% full-on v4.4 playbook. Wait out v4.5 for better days as you said. :)
