Heading into the game, Carolina was 1st in offensive yards from scrimmage, 13th defensively. The Panthers scored 631 points during the regular season.
Raiders were 4th in offense, 2nd in defense, scoring 542.
Raiders jumped out to an early 6-0 lead thanks to red zone struggles but looked like the better team early. The Panthers got a quick strike TD to take a 7-6 lead, and it was 10-9 Carolina at the half.
Panthers got the ball to start the 3rd qtr, and drove down the field for a FG opportunity that was wide right, though it looked like a Cody Parkey special on film. After trading punts, the Raiders went on a 10 play 64 yard TD drive to take the lead for good, 16-10.
Oakland added a FG and intercepted passes on the last 2 Carolina drives to seal the 19-10 victory.
Biggest factors were winning the turnover battle 3-0 and time of possession battle, Raiders had it just over 37 minutes. Total yards were about even, 305-299 Oakland.
Third title in franchise history, $B$Dog$ won the very first LC in this league with Oakland and I've now won two. First time I've won more than 1 LC with any of my franchises.
