My theory is that it was a nearly completely full league that vacated to AI.
It has kept the previous GM owned game plans left behind. Multiple times I've caught the d-play alignment working to what only a GM could do, not AI, which tiers a certain and operates in a certain way. (pairings to o-sets)
I -think- in this one league AI has been enhanced. I 100% know that's true.
I was blowing off steam (venting for energy) but I do think it's unfair for real people to do 19 game plans and for an AI team to get the only bye in the conference and the 1-game mental break.
Like I said....haven't played A.I. in forever so you ha e more experience then me but the idea a particular league is using a different A.I. or enhanced A.I. doesn't sound possible or probable to me.
The added effort it would take JDB to alter the A.I. for a specific league and basically run a different Sim for a random league seems unlikely.
Why Big Data? JDB could care less about some private league that's half full. Any alterations to the code would happen in bleeding beta not Big Data....it's a dying league with no direction.
That would imply JDB is running 3 different simulation (4.6/Beta/Big Data). The more likely scenario is A.I. has been altered game wide and its more noticeable in Big Data because half the league is A.I.
I can see where a properly run A.I. would be harder to beat then some owners that are newer or simply lost in the woods.
Personally, it's more a good news/bad news scenario. An improved A.I. has its advantages especially from a league admin perspective but if A.I. starts going to Conference and Title games often, it gets a bit too much.
