Yeah, I thought about it deeper in the past week.

I would not be surprised if he has a personal setting for elite GMs.

smirt211:

Win: 18% of title games
Lose: 82% of title games
Nerf/humiliate him: 30% of title games

I 100% believe he has written personal code over the entire platform for when I enter the title game stage.

In my line of work, you have to be careful to avoid confusing perception with reality.

Smirt clearly has the perception that he loses way to many Title games to the tune of losing 4 out 5 on average. That is what he feels and I can't change how he feels.

At work, we strive hard to remove perception and let the factual data paint a more accurate picture. It allows you to remove emotion from the equation and focuses on logic.

I went to Smirt's owner page and checked every active league he has played in and came up with the below stats. It's important to note, any dead league stats has been lost to the ether and no data is available which takes away a bunch of data.

TOTAL
SEASONS: 193
CONFERENCE CHAMPION: 61 (31.6%)
LEAGUE CHAMPION: 43 (22.3%)

That means his record in Title games among current active leagues is:

43-18 (.705)

It's legitimately 20% or worse over my entire time on MFN.

I've had at least 3 stretches of 5 straight title game losses.

I'm in 9 active leagues and I currently have MFN-2 and MFN-23 cornered out where I'm blasting away in pedigree and I started off the PFL like 36-0 due to motivation.

I speak in truths.

First, the above is current active leagues which you were part of at some point with some results dating back over 5 years....not just leagues you are active in.

You said 110 Titles with a 18% win rate right. That's roughly 600 Title games.

So 600 minus the 61 accounted for means 539 Title games from dead leagues. If we take the known percentage of 31.6% of all seasons (193) where he make the Title game (61)....that means you played roughly 1600 seasons in leagues which died.

1600 seasons would be 106 Dead leagues which averaged 15 seasons each and you went an incredible 67-482 in those Title games.

Look, it's your results and I believe you believe what you are saying but it just doesnt add up. You have a .705 winning percentage in known Title games and I guarantee you don't believe those numbers.

Truth is defined by perception while facts are defined by data. Let's face it Smirt, you win 10 Titles and it doesn't move the needle because you expect to while 1 Title game lose sticks around and drives you.

Even you must realize you are driven by emotion when it comes to MFN. It's what makes you a great owner but also causes friction among other owners.

I've been pretty good at keeping track. I've got it at 104 wins in 500-550 title games. The 500-550 is a guess as I didn't keep track of when I go to a title game. The 104 is pretty on point.

I can tell you I clipped 3 in a row losses, a lot - get nerfed to an AI here or a frank. I often remember numerous - over and over again 3 game batches where I'd fight a Bryson to the death - lose.....get you and lose and then a scrub would beat me and my counter would remain the same on titles won. It's like wait - I fought elites to the death and a scrub game plan gave me 3 in a row in the L column.

I can tell you it's 104 out of something not good, bro.

I don't know but I don't want to get into a back and forth on it as that'll only distract me from focusing on my work in the game.

I will say and leave it at this. I failed to make my most compelling argument earlier.

Of course, I'm winning at a better title clip as of late. (MFN-2, 23 etc)

JDB away time correlation and lack there of his looming presence.

Its all a mute point regardless....if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there, does it make a sound???

That old philosophical debate holds just as true in MFN....If you won a Title in a league I'm not in, does it really matter???

To you it does and to me not really.

Every league is different for a wide amount of variables including which owners are in the league and how many open teams does the league have every season.

Winning a Title is a league with 12 open teams and only 1 other owner that's a real threat is much different then winning a Tilte in a full league with a half dozen to 10 assassins as owners.

I gave up playing MFN-# LEAGUES 4 years ago because I realized they had no longterm value and could become half full leagues with a dozen super teams.

JDB never cries about MFN. You care about it a lot more than he does. Quite frankly, I'm surprised 4.6 ever came out, and I'm pretty sure it's the last version.
