I've been saying it and will continue to say it.....we need more owners willing to take on the responsibility of being "active" league admins.

For example, I joined the Galactic Football League which was set up with an outstanding premise, a deep backstory and quality team custization. He even renamed a bunch of players prior to the allocation draft......he did a great job in league creation.....but then he failed to completely fill the league which is a failure in recruiting and its now 8 games into the 1st season and not a single post has been put up in the forums, not even a good game thread.

This means the league will slowly fade away unless the league admin changes his approach and becomes more active. It could last 3 or 4 more seasons but without constant attention, owners will leave with no active recruitment to replace them.

It takes a certain type of individual to be a league admin....its mostly a thankless position and you get more complaints then compliments but you need a vision and a direction to steer the league forward.


Sadly it’s the same with two other leagues I’m in created by BDK. Great concepts but he’s now been AWOL for weeks. These leagues will die out unfortunately.

I’m also in Galactic and loved the initial idea. I was really hoping for more content.

I'll edit it out. I was just unloading about an Ai team since it's fair game + to fire myself up. It was nothing pertinent to current day.

Anyone that gets offended by a post or name change really needs to look at themselves hard!!!

Unless someone is coming directly at you will foul language or personal comments about your family.....I don't get it!!!!

This is a game!!!! We play people from all over the world and some of those, English isn't their 1st language!

Anything said in these forums has to be taken with a wide lense.....sarcasm, dry humor, being facetious or joking doesn't translate well in a forum and if you take every comment literally or overlook humor.....you are the problem!!!!

But I'm old....I don't get younger people and their over-sensitive feelings about everything!! I just went to see Bill Burr live and my face still hurts from laughing so hard but the crowd (4,000) was mostly older (40+) because the younger generation have a hard time laughing about certain topics!!!

I've seen Raidergreg name a player Adolph Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer and nobody batted an eye!!! LMFAO

It's just names, really. I'm not trying to celebrate anything, just naming digital football players. CJ brings up a great point, I forgot about Hitler and Dahmer. I think, if anything he's projecting his own feelings into the names. maybe he lost a family member in 9/11, and if he did then I'm an asshole.

But if he did, all he had to do so was say so, then maybe I'd change it.

Jesus H Christ I hope not. GDB is to me what JDB is to Smirt.

That is highly unlikely, unless GDB has done the greatest alt job in the history of this game pretending to be in both Texas and the UK (where JB is from).

Well the commish asked me to change the names, think I'll let him do it. I hate censorship more than anything.
