Bruno would you mind sending over that insider code access, I play Smirt tonight in the MFN2 Super Bowl and I need all the help I can get considering I've never beaten him

**** 7 of the first 9 Titles is pretty good! I guess I'm guilty of being a Bryson myself since I won 8 of the first 10 Titles in my Quick and the Dead league.

But I didn't do it maliciously....it just happened! My mentality wasn't screw everybody else, I just gameplanned to win like normal and had success.

Should I have lost on purpose?

Everybody who consistently wins in MFN games the code to some extent. I've heard the same thing Smirt says about Bryson said about Smirt from others.

So tell me Smirt, how many Titles in a row do you win before you tank on purpose?

The 7 of 9 run started in season 5 of the league. He lost 2 of the first 4 LC's and didn't make the other 2 before the 7/9.

To defend myself a bit, I got quiet yesterday to respect CJ when he commented he couldn't get to what he needed done. I went radio silent for the day.

JB threw up a post after beating me - wasn't too respectful - I let it go. He then doubled back with an 'apology' and had more to say. I had had enough. That is how I'm built. I'll let one thing go but if you continue at it, I'm going to react.

I still don't think JB was intent on riling you up with those posts initially (he didn't know that you like to trade for older players that already have maxed out current ability), I think he only continued once he got an overreaction out of you because it was funny. The only reason people give you a hard time in general is because you make it so easy for them to do so by how you react to every small thing that happens as it provides them entertainment value.

3 in a row is a good stop point. The game is won playing on the edge. Once you hit the Conference Final and Final level you have to grit your teeth and motivate yourself to match the other GMs intensity/intent coming at you. If you don't, you'll lose. I can pull from examples where I've had the same opposing GM in a Title Game 3 in a row....I win the first two...I'll ease off the anger throttle and that release of edge would probably be enough to give the other guy the win. I'll still game plan to win it but I'd be happy for the other person for winning.

......

To hold a league title for 3 real life calendar years - the mentality - you have to be a pretty cruel person without empathy. It's just not cool. (re: Bryson)

MFN-74 is where he rattled off about 12 in a row.

I mean that obviously sucks parity-wise and he probably was able to control for a lot but do you think he had full control over his results in an RNG-based game? He wantes to win, as everyone else should have wanted to, and definitely had a metric **** ton of luck his way too.

My thought process is the following:

JDB supplied him with the seed idea that he could control the game at the line. No one else knew it - HUGE advantage. Bryson then laser beamed his efforts toward 100 strength linemen on both sides of the ball and POUNDED the concept like I would and others have now, too, pound FB Dive. The problem is only he knew and he had the pinpointed target of going viciously at attaining the goal of 100 strength linemen and penalty accumulations while the rest of us were LA LA LA fighting hard as **** with every strategy imaginable to no hope or chance.

I honestly 100% believe that and believe it was incredibly unfair.
