I'm not blaming any particular owner but a variety of behaviors attributed to a number of owners. I've read the stuff in Community and General, I know what is says but it's obviuous my overall point isn't really being heard and that's ok. The result speaks for itself. An absentee Dev, no changes in 2 years to 4.5, no changes to beta in 10 months but suddenly witha declining player base in the middle of football season we have this sudden change, were going to 4.6


I hear your point loud and clear. People are leaving and the ones remaining find certain owners dominating leagues very frustrating so the developer who clearly isn't active puts up a BS poll only in the Beta league to confirm a decision he already made to release Beta in a last ditch effort to save the game.

Based on my observations from when he totally nerfed passing in his 4.4 release and the exodus began...He was forced to fix the passing game to some degree quickly...hence 4.5

It's my belief, another exodus won't be followed by some quick release of 4.7 and the game dies!!

I want nothing more then to be wrong....I love this game and JDB has gotten hundreds of dollars from me personally since I've bought thousands of credits over the years. This game is my hobby and I have to start looking for another which is upsetting

I just play the best I can no matter what version is put out. After seeing Cj post his age, I'm upset,
I new he had more grandkids than me, but thought he was my age! Now I seem so **** old I
may have to cut back on leagues!

Age is just a number. I'm 52 going on 13.

I'll be 40 in a few months, interesting it's mostly older fellows in this game.

One thing I do know over the four years I been playing this game is that whenever we have a code change there is always this heated debate and even worse when the new code is implemented. Only saying.

Yeah, Smirt can be an *** but he follows league rules to close off exploits and still wins!

4.5 has been out for 2 years and the same owners win over and over...there are no secrets left in version 4.5 so why haven't everybody caught up to Smirt, Setherick, Infinity, Grandadb or me???

There are no cheat codes or special buttons we can push...anyone can easily do what I do but they don't for whatever reason.

It all starts with player weights, if you don't have the proper weights, how are you gonna improve your roster and win??

I had no special knowledge when it comes to player weights but I adjust them about every 60 days based on observation and analysis.

I **** at stopping the run, hmm who is good at it.....ah he is so what players is he using.....oh these guys play defensive line....let me check their attributes....what do they have in common....oh run defense is 100 across the board....how about tackle and strength??? No they both are all over the place....so make run defense 100 for DL and lower tackle and strength to 10....oh all my dline ratings declined so let me check free agency....this guy's are high rated by new weights...let me sign them as a stopgap until the end of season, free agency and the draft why I can seriously improve my run defense.

That's a micro look of what I do for every single position!!! That's putting in the work to improve the talent on my roster even before we hit gameplanning.

I hate how my hard work disturbs others to the point they purposely destroy passing. It's a game but everyone won't ever be on the same level.

My point is this.....4.6 isn't about me....I will figure it out and I will win Titals with it....I look at the game on a broader scale because I create leagues and leagues can't exist without owners and if you are making versions to limit the elite owners....how good with the new or casual owner be???

If they are frustrated now because they throw for 300 yards but 3 INTs...how frustrated are they gonna be when the elite start figuring out 4.6 and they have made it even harder for them to compete?

Plus throwing for 200 yards a game simply isn't fun and quite honestly boring...seriously
not to mention the really crappy owners like me. But actually I'm one of those guys that believes a system will work once I got it tweaked enough even if it takes years. It's also funny that I play the same rules in every league I play with vastly different results. Some of it obviously is different owners in different leagues but to be honest 4.6 seems to be more in the direction of the type of football I prefer to play but that's because I can probably name ten players from the 1965 Bills without googling it. I want to be one of those guys who wins in a way no one says it can be done and am willing to look the fool until I accomplish it or I'll at least continue to try.
