Same here Moon. I run, more or less, the same rules and game plan in all my leagues and some of the plays just work differently. The running plays, in particular. In some leagues, I can get 6+ yards a carry for HB Blast. In another league, it goes for negative yards on average.

I am 62 and just like football. A little old school where the best offense is a good defense. I like the low scoring smash mouth but also the high flying . In 4.5 I am playoffs but never past division, I am playing a Bata to get the feel.

Just remember it is a game and life will go on.

I posted in the USFL forum but a quick hit on why you're not scoring.

a) QB is yanked around on every pass play to create chaos before the play even commences (I think it still happens, right. You get used to it and then don't see it any more.)
b) You can sustain a drive for 18 plays - devastate the opposing defense but it'll BANG to the ball and be 100% fresh on Play #18 as it is on Play #1 of the drive.
c) Penalties on the offense in every form to end drives. Holding penalty is a -10 go-to mash for the sim engine.
d) Protection of inept GMs with over-sensitivity on offense play usage. Opposing defense could be on a run key, inside blitz and your FL Hitch won't clown him.
