I'm going to throw everything at it but if all roads lead to no offense - failure and it becomes widespread ...I'll finally quit the game for good.

It may be that effective. I've already attempted several vicious all-in angles at it.

I once thought Flat Zone would do that but I can f*** it up to oblivion now. I do wonder if your scheme adopted through Hammond nerfs with no way to propel through it.

side note...

Hammond came in so hot on Day 1 as AG mentioned. I thought no way he could be new but I was wrong. Maybe that's v4.6 code. You can come right in and dominate due to the restrictions and how it plays. In the past versions any newbie would be flattened for a long time under rules and over-rides. Not being up to par.



Maybe, but I doubt it. In our TPM league it used to be that you could set your defense to literally only run OLB zone and you would cruise to the playoffs, now anyone who does that gets crushed by the top 5-10 teams.
When I first noticed people using FB Dive for 2pt conversions I started spamming it on 2nd and 3nshorts for constant 1st downs, now I get constant DT glitches or 1 yard gains (seriously, did someone solve the DT glitch and I missed it? I had obscene conversion rates last season across all leagues and now I'm getting tons of DT glitches against everyone).
Metas come and go but the owners at the top of the leagues stay the same because they are the ones who notice patterns and innovate. If everyone adopted AG's defense overnight I'm pretty confident that counters would pop up over time.

I think JDB would have won and then I'd have to bow out. I've been in a war with him over any one else. He'll have the parity cinched in and locked because the all pass key means you can't hit the go-tos and pull away from the pack. You'll need to move on to adding less effective passes vs. a guarded system. It'll play out as setherick's dream: methodical football.

All within 0-28 points, nothing standing out.

Armoredgiraffe has beat me at least 6 times in a row but I've adjusted until the last 2 loses were 20-17 & 24-23 which tells me I'm close and a lucky row or 2 each game makes tge difference.

I'm a firm believer that without any custom rules, there is no such thing as cheating in this game.

Everyone is free to figure things out on their own via any avenue available:

Trail & Error
Analysis of opponents
Help via forums
Help via PM

It's all fair game and none are more valate then others!

The only thing I think is cheating is what GDB did when he actively logged into someone else's account to set a gameplan. That seems unfair and puts the opponent at a serious disadvantage because you are scouting owner Xs tendencies when in fact you are playing owner Y!

The roster building part, even with frustrating draft classes, still excites me.

I'm hoping the next patch can open up a few more plays to make a wider variety available to use and succeed.

Yeah, right along the line of when a high end GM or a 'newbie' comes in for a playoff game to take you down. It's an incredible advantage. To go from Ai to Bryson's brother (deep past real life example) or when GDB mega schooled marinara sauce (I can't remember the user name to the letter) on the game to take down Crazy Razor in Paydirt and both hit the board to brag about it. :(

I'm not bored but I have a ton of things I focus on that most don't running my leagues and adding content.

The off-season in the XFL is super busy as I add another season of data to everything.

Blackflys = Bryson's bro right? I think I saw that name pop up in a league recently but could be wrong.
