If I activated them it'd be for a 100% passing scenario given your being down the #1 and #2 RB.

I lost RB2 in the wild card round and RB1 in the divisional round. I was using a run heavy gameplan, but I think it was just random bad luck losing them in consecutive sims and the guys further down the depth chart couldn't cut it. The opponent is in his third straight Super Bowl now so he's a juggernaut, I'm just trying to gain any advantage in the future.

*peers into Moguls* :)

I had him recently and I saw his threat level over there. I have him ear marked to be a major menace here in the future. You'll figured it out. Your chess pieces being taken off the board did you win.

Conference Final last season and it was mega close. (Pittsburgh)

Agreed. Duane has arrived in the AXC and will start making a lot of noise this season. My window in the division may have slammed shut for the next 5-6 years.

Ouch. I saw him as the weak point of the division until last season and the Moguls run.

Your division is insanity. Blondie and Private are ultra competitors.

As a general rule, P4 or higher and I rest the player during the regular season.

P3 depends on injury percentage, 65% one area and up is a go but I may lower him on the depth chart.

Questionable depends on the length obviously and injury part. I've seen Q0 for a concussion or Q1 or Q2 for a hand injury so if they touch the ball then no go but linemen can play.

Doubtful is a don't play period.

In the postseason, it's more complicated depending on what round and opponent. Once you hit the Conference Championship or League Title game then you have to play like there is no tomorrow.

Injuries test the depth of your roster and I try to make my roster as deep as possible everywhere but QB & kickers since they rarely get hurt. So my handling of injuries is ultra-conservative.

The real problem begins when you only have 42, 43, 44 or 45 players who aren't injured since you must have 46 active.

When that happens, I will activate the less injured players but hide them in the depth chart to limit playing time.

Injuries do **** but they are what makes this game partly a roster management Sim.

Without injuries like in my Death & Destruction league, it's best 22 and best gameplan wins.

[b]LEAGUES WITH INJURIES[b]

ROSTER MANAGEMENT 35%
GAMEPLANNING 55%
LUCK 10%

[b]LEAGUES WITHOUT INJURIES[b]

ROSTER MANAGEMENT 20%
GAMEPLANNING 70%
LUCK 10%

Likewise dang. My roster is the weakest it’s been in years.

I do just about what Cj said, with the hand and DB's I play them unless under 50%!

Couple of notes:

a) Neck injuries (1 body part) You may think that attempting to play a 50-65% player would be ok, however, I find the injury to that body part to be the most "It's a TRAP!!!" leading to a further bang up to a longer term injury.

b) JDB is on record that a player with multiple injuries has a much higher likelihood to injure further, if played. Most I might attempt is a 70 x2 or 80-85 x3 body parts.

I’ll be honest. I’ve never payed much attention to injuries before. I might have to now.
